I had weeks of this with my second, first time happened around 23 weeks and then nothing again until 34 weeks. I had an extremely irritable uterus and by 38 weeks I stopped taking everything (evening primrose and raspberry tea leaf etc) it calmed down a bit however I was still breastfeeding my first so that did add a bit to it.

The BEST thing was Epsom salt baths I would have one every day and it would calm it right down,Standing made it worse as well as anything to stimulate uterus (sex etc) but it was all wonderful prep work for labour which was 2ish hours from first contraction. Good luck hope it eventuates my labour was intense and fast but by god I knew it was the real thing the second it woke me up.

That isn't a bad thing. Stronger is good! I hate the back pain though.

I had a few weeks of prelabour with my third. I was induced a few weeks early for medical reasons,so it never 'became' actual labour - BUT I was 3cm when I went in to be induced, & my labour was only 30 mins from first contraction to baby in my arms!

oh man its just getting silly haha. tomorrow will be day 5 and I'll probably stomp into hospital and be like is my cervix even softening!!! 😂

that sounds like my kind of induction!! my induction was 13 and 1/2 hours long. i was 3cms when they induced me with my first and at 11 59 pm out he popped haha. i suppose with weeks of prelabour we deserve an easy birth dont we? 😊
