I found going from 1 to 2 very hard, even though my 2nd was a much easier bub than my 1st ( maybe because #1 was an very hard work toddler too...). DH was a shift - worker and I had no family support in a new small town. Going from 2-3 was much easier!!

Subbing and reading along as I'm in the same boat, dealing with baby blues and mummy guilt, and a whole new level of anxiety I don't remember having with DD. I have no advice other than just to hang on and wait it out as I know it will get better/easier... eventually!
