Default Tell me about 6 year old molars

How old was your child when they started coming through, and did it effect their health/behaviour much?

My DS is getting his first one at the moment - he's 5 and a half. Neither of us noticed until the dentist pointed it out at his check up, it hasn't effected him at all

I didn't even know that my son got his. I was told at the dentist he has them and I'm like, oh that might have been why you had an ear ache. Lol it wasn't anything bad though he just said "mum my ear hurts" and that was the end of it. So it wasn't like when they are babies haha

DS (5.5) last week mentioned a sore mouth and when we had a look you can see his molars coming through , he hasn't mentioned them again since so I'm assuming they are not bothering him

I had no idea kids got more teeth after their 2 year old molars! Then the dentist pointed out 5 year old DD had her molars coming through.... She hadn't mentioned any pain.

We didn't know either of our kids had got them until the dentist told us at their checkup, kids didn't complain or given any indication they were getting them

We had no idea with DD either, and we're at a stage where they're falling out at the moment-and that seems to be super easy too!
