Default I feel quite proud of myself...

I'm moving into a new place in a fortnight and I desperately wanted new furniture but really can't splash out on too much ... So I've done a bit of a Reno on my table and TV unit.

My table was originally dark brown and this is it now

And here is the before and after of my TV unit

I've bought this couch and rug to go with it!!

I'm by no means 'handy' but I feel quite chuffed with the results. Feel free to share your pics

I love it! I have dark stained furniture and I was thinking of doing the same as you have with your dining table but was worried about the result. Looks like I have my next project.
