Default Camry altise with 3 baby seats in back?

Does anyone have 3 car seats in the back of a 2004 camry Altise? We currently have a safe n sound meridian and a infasecure rally in the back both FF, and I don't see how we could squeeze a third in the back. Are they allowed to be touching? Considering going for a third but really don't want to have to buy a new car.

    Thanks

The compact car seats should be fine, at worst buy 3. Safe n sound do the ahr and the mark 2. They are slightly narrower and shorter. They are sold to be able to fit 3 in Std car. The Bub shops should let u try out the fit.

Yes you can fit 3. But they will touch. It is ok if they touch.

Would a rear facing seat take up more room?

I'm a fitter. You can absolutely fit 3. You may need new seats but it can be done. At the moment the 2 seats will have centres themselves in their seating position. The secret is to install the middle one first, this means when the outside ones get installed they will sit further to the side than before. It's safe for them to touch, and it's safe for them to touch the doors but not be squished in.

Rf generally takes up less room because you don't have to fit the big wings in between or next to 2 other sets of wings.

Thank you, yes the seats arent right up against the doors but the seat is raised on the edges so didnt think it would be able to. When we were getting the secong seat fitted they told us the seats couldnt go next to each other either. Any idea what 3 seats would be the best to buy?

    Thanks so much
