I had my gallbladder out in 2000 and suffered digestive issues for years and years. Bloating, gas, diarrhea it made my life hell I always had to know there was a loo close by.

I now follow a low-carb high fat diet and my digestive issues have all but disappeared. Seems that sugar and refined carbohydrates do not agree with my body and likely caused my gallbladder/gallstone issues in the first place.

From time to time I have issues with fat malabsorption due to the bile thing and I take an ox bile supplement to help digest the fats properly. I probably should take it all the time but I am lazy and forgetful!
