Default Help! TTC, mirena and PCO.

Hi all, I'm new to this website and new the the idea of TTC. My partner and I have decided it's time to start trying for our own little bundle of joy. The reason I am posting is in hope of getting some advice or even people willing to share their experiences. To start off with I'm 23yo, and for the last 5 years up until last week I have had the mirena. Mid last year I was diagnosed with PCO and warned about the troubles of conceiving. My doctor urged me to try ASAP and several months later have decided we are ready. Since being diagnosed and a mixture of medication I was on and the mirena I have put on quite a bit of weight (50+ kg in the last 5 years). I was a moderate smoker but have given them up to try for a baby (3 weeks and counting). Since having the mirena removed I have not yet had a period (mirena stopped my periods) but have had blood in my discharge every now and again, sometimes pink, sometimes brown but only twice been enough to mark a panty liner. This has been going on since I had it removed last Monday. Any suggestions as to why I'm having this on off "bleeding" and any advice for me TTC would be so greatly appreciated!

It can take a while for your cycle to regulate after using contraception. With PCO your cycle may not regulate at all.

In that case, the only thing I can really do is just have inter course every other day?

I'd suggest starting to track your cycle using a basal body thermometer
