JR03, i was wondering about hormones for me too. I have never been to a GP about anything like that but i would like to know what my hormones are. I am 42 and not sure if hormones change as you get older??

Not really! The only difference is I can feel that I'm getting stronger so the gym work is effective, but just not in weight loss 😭

I'm sure they do, some people hit menopause in their mid-40s don't they? So even if you're still years away from it, I imagine it would be a gradual change rather than overnight... This is all just guessing, there's no science backing this up 😂

And apparently the whole "muscle weighs more than fat" theory is true but the rate you lose weight is weigh faster than the rate that you build muscle so even if you lost 1kg, there is no way you would gain 1kg in muscle in the same period of time.

I need to go to the GP and get my hormone levels checked, I spend all my bloody free time at the gym!
Did your trainer check your measurements?

Maybe you need to add a few more calories to your diet if you're at the gym a lot.

Morning girls. I'm finally feeling a bit better. Have been for a 30 minute run this morning. Hoping the back end of April will be better for me.

Down to 73.8kg this morning, from 76.25kg on Wednesday - but I have had gastro for a couple of days, so I'm not counting that.

So I set up my weight watchers app for weigh in on Monday not realising it would reset my weekly points when I only started on Wednesday.
Any who. .. I've lost 1.5kgs from Wednesday to weigh in today. Great motivation to keep going. I've been trying to walk more and I've dropped some not so subtle hints to DH about getting a fit gear watch for mother's day.

I'm now sitting at 67.6! Woohoo can't believe the progression 🎉

2.3kg gone this month. Another .7kg and I'll have hit my April goal.

Only 2.6kg off UWG too 😁

Wow! You're all getting some great numbers!! I'm weighing in Wednesday but not feeling overly optimistic 😁
