    Default Antibodies screening

Does anyone know much about anti-DNA and ANA antibody screening?

Do you have specific questions? I am positive for ANA, it was picked up when I changed IVF clinics. They put me on prednisolone plus aspirin for my cycle & I had a DD. Just did the exact same for a FET & am very lucky to be pregnant again. Before that we did 2 failed cycles with another clinic so I suspect the pred had a lot to do with it.
My current clinic tests for ANA in their standard tests, my previous clinic did not.
I also tested positive for anti-cardio lipin antibodies, but the repeat test came back negative. If it was still positive they would have put me on clexane.

I'm sure I was tested for this years ago after my second miscarriage. I did IVF and have my DS as a result but my second baby was born at just under 31 weeks due to a suspected blood clot but they are not really sure on this as when they did the CS there wasn't clear evidence of a clot or abruption. Now we have done a range of tests earlier this year which I was told there was no follow up required but today I received a pathology slip to go for these tests as the earlier results show detected 1:650 but it's not clear on what for. I'm a bit confused and my dr is away

I'm so sorry for your loss. That must have been devastating.
I think my ANA was 1:160, then just before the FET I had it done again it was about 1:300. I thought it mainly had implications in falling pregnant, as you start the pred on transfer day, but wean off at the 12 week mark.
Hope you can find some answers.
