Big congrats!@Chiefsgirl - hope you have a quick recovery.
I'd add some emojis if I could only get them to work.
Ahhh, Mum, Dad and Baby Girl are finally together as a family. Dreams really do come true! I hope you're enjoying getting to know your precious little poppet @Chiefsgirl, studying each tiny part of her and falling more and more in love as each hour passes. I also hope the birthing process was kind to you. We can't wait to see a pic, even if it's only of her tiny little feet or hands. Tender kisses for her sweet little forehead. xxx
Out of interest, did anyone else burst into tears when you read the birth announcement?
I felt such a massive rush of relief that @Chiefsgirl's little lady was finally here and safely delivered into her Momma's arms.
Seriously, I'm such a mess sometimes....
@Chiefsgirl, you give us all hope hon.
@Calypso Hello gorgeous! What time are you going in? I always used to vomit/cry/shake/pass out after each anesthetic but now I'm so ridiculously demanding about them including lots of anti nausea meds in the anesthetic cocktail that I've woken up really well after the last few. Saying that I 'pass out' gets more of a reaction. 'Vomiting' gets more of a ho hum reaction. Super good luck. I hope it goes really well.
Yep @Blossom I'm desperate to know her name too!! I'm not entirely sure it'll happen on a public forum though. I vote for Rose.
I hope your boob goes well at it's drs apt today.
A confession. I'm addicted to Cobs salted/sweet popcorn. I'm living on it. Soooo naughty. But I'm not cycling so stuff it!!!
@Charlie74 I hope things are going well for you, your sister and your niece. Lots of emotional hugs I imagine!

I always come out of an anaesthetic crying. I have no idea why. I also get terrible nausea, but since speaking to my anaesthetist things have been better. Now he loads me up with the anti-nausea meds and he uses a different way to get me off to sleep. It's been better since then. I must say, the more anaesthetics I do, the worse I feel afterwards though. I mean, I expect to feel tired but these days I'm done in for a good 24 hours
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
