Short cycle begins on your AF start, bloods day 1 then stims day 2. There's no prior meds usually so it's just whenever it falls. No they don't do epu on weekends hence why they might have to trigger people in non ideal times..I'm feeling so bloated today, I'll be glad when af arrives! Well unless of course it doesn't..yeah right..as if!!!!

@BlondeinBrisvegas I'm sure this has been asked heaps of times before. How would I do an OE cycle with Wazza? Would I have my lining scans/E2 bloods down here in Melb then fly up to Brissy for EPU and transfer? Just sussing out future options.
And I'm guessing the other option is to have him support me do another CT fresh cycle on his kitchen sink meds. Although this scares me a bit because I'm so over the hardcore meds. Metformin was fine on 500mgs. I think it's the anti-inflammatory steroids that took it's toll on my body.
I'm hoping he can suggest some reason why my embryos are implanting but then not staying.

    Morning lovelies,

@Tahli, I love that you're making some tentative plans for The Next Cycle. You go girl!

I had a fab night last night. DH was away for the first time ever - an overnight trip for work.

The cats and I shared a pizza, and had a lovely sleep last night sprawled across the bed in all directions!

Today I'm back to reality with a thump though. Three loads of laundry, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, changing the sheets, grocery shopping, visiting the real estate agent and a library trip.

    I'm exhausted already!

@Chiefsgirl thinking of you and cheering you along.
@Maxwellsmum that lining will be puffing up nicely all ready and waiting for those lovely de.
@Tahli as you are contemplating going to wazza do you think the dr m and Monash pair was not useful? I'm wondering whether I should try and get a cancelled appointment with dr m before my transfer in maybe June/July. Dr NL is willing to treat for nkc and a host of other things including stem cells in the uterus for lining so I'm wondering whether it's worth talking to dr m.

I guess @Caesardust I know I'm very close to the end. I wish I'd known about Wazza right from the start and used Wazza and Dr M together from cycle 1. I had Dr NL do my super quick OE transfer & I wasn't a fan, for the reasons @Calypso stated at our Melb lunch, but that's not to say he's not a brilliant FS who is fully behind immune protocols and experimental treatments, unlike LB sometimes.
I think if I was going to do a final hurrah with my OEs I'd like to entrust them to Wazza. Although leaving my comfort zone of Monash would be hard.
I'd love to know how you go with the stem cells, as LB turned her nose up at it, but then she does for most things NL supports. I'm also interested to see how @Maxwellsmum gets on with Wazza's lining meds.
Even if you ended up moving over to DE (which I hope you don't have to) you'd most probably want to consult with Dr M. It's just up to you as to whether you want to do it now. It'd cost you around $500 for the initial chat, then follow up results. How much the tests cost would depend on which ones you have done. Are you worried about doubling up on tests?

@Charlie74 I'm will Kee Ong at Monash Gold Coast but will possibly try with Wazza after this round.
Wazza doesn't seem to like doing Skype meetings though so I think it's more trips up there.
    I'm in Melbourne too
@Blossom74 that sounds like a great night in !

@Tahli I just saw you've been with Monash too - did you find them a bit impersonal ?
I hang had a great experience except for a couple of caring nurses.
I'm sorry you've been going through such a hard time too.
We will all be the strongest women after getting through all of this in the end !

@amie999 Monash is a money making machine. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh. I know they make babies too! My nurse was super lovely though, as was the incredibly helpful DS co-ordinator. Don't get my started on LB's incompetent staff!!
@Blossom74 Yay for an indulgent DH free night! Any PD emails appearing?
