@Tahli - not a personal question so no need to bugger off! If this cycle produces no normal embryos that will be it for me ( apart from transferring my two frozen untested embryos which FS reckons are probably abnormal given my other crappy results!). My FS has spoken to me about DE and probably for me I'd consider it if was one of my sisters and since they are 38 and 41 respectively that option is out.

@ECM1981 Right ovary pain might be an endometrioma (basically endometriosis 'caught' inside the ovary that forms a cyst). I had one in my right ovary that caused me pain especially around ovulation. They excised it when I had my laparotomy but they can regrow.

I'm sorry @Charlie74 that must have been really hard to hear. Like @greenlady was saying the other day other peoples success sometimes leaves you feeling like the odd one out. IVF is torture on all sorts of levels from poor responding, to no normal PGD's embies, to a single line on a POAS, or even losing a precious life. It's not that your really upset it worked for them more that you ask yourself 'What's wrong with me that it doesn't work? Why can't it be me that it works for?'. I wish there was a formula we could follow that guaranteed success. I can only offer hugs.

A few cycles back we bought a rattle. That was the first thing we bought. I kept it in my bedside drawer and got it out a lot in the 2ww. It was a BFN that cycle but I still felt it was a welcoming sign for any baby we might have. We bought a crochet rug at a market on the cycle we got the chemical pregnancy but nothing on our last cycle. Mostly because by that stage I was convinced it wouldn't work.
I freely admit I have utterly no psychic abilities.

Happy Easter girls. I am crossing my fingers that this is the last Easter for all of us without a new bub (or one on the way).

@Green lady I'd best not pop you under the Final Cycle heading because you might have wonderful things happen this cycle, plus you might be doing a FET. Shall we save popping you under that heading until you're definitely at your final transfer with your frozen embies?
Is your 38 y/o Sis absolutely not an option? Whack me over the head/stick pins in my eyes etc but I'm going to type it anyway...I gave birth to my son at age 37. Is she definitely not an option?

Yes @Tahli I definitely think you should take B6, 12, Vit E & the aspirin (for blood flow to your oven/lining).

As far as I know Co-Q10 is for egg quality only??? Will look further into that & a few other things when I get home😊

@Tahli - I agree, I might be doing an FET. I don't reckon she's an option - she had her first child at 34 and then started trying to conceive her second straightaway - took her 4 years . She never got any tests done, but I suspect there is potentially some underlying issue. Unfortunately my 41 year old sister would be the one who would give me an egg in a heartbeat but her age is too close to mine !

Okey dokes, ta @BlondeinBrisvegas I'll go and make my weekly pill box up now. Dr M suggested Co-Q10 he knew I was doing DE so he must have suggested it for something else. It has no negative side effect on me so I'll just throw it in the pill box too.
The one I don't like taking is the B12 under the tongue. It's like putting an effervescent Barocca tablet under your tongue and waiting for it to dissolve, which takes ages. Yuck!!

Ladies I'm in a dilemma. I'm seriously wondering if it is even worth doing this last oe cycle. It will be the first time I've done Pgd but I figure if I'd had any normal embies (7) they'd have worked by now. I will also be having my first laparoscopy. If you were me would you bother throwing 8+k down the drain on a last ditch oe cycle to draw a line in the sand? I won't be able to afford a de cycle until probably next year at least so it's kind of one or the other. I hadn't got to de in my mind or do I think I'm emotionally really ready to give up on my oe but I am figuring it's better to put my money where I'm going to have more of a chance of success. I am in all sorts of anxiety and stress and no one option seems better than the other.

@Caesardust. Huge question! How many day 5 blasts do you normally get in a cycle?

Ok-dokes...have done a bit of research on supplements/vitamins for a FET and Q10 is on a couple of the lists but no reason as to why though I suspect the antioxidant effect would be what helps.

Here's a link to a couple of the lists that are quite lengthy I must say!! I definitely would add folic acid/Vit D if you need it or don't already take it now Luv.

Ok...the 3rd link is from a forum where women are using DE to try to conceive and the 4th link is using a more "natural" approach to the FET which I added for any other Lovelies who might be interested/wanting to try it out
