Im really hoping (trying not to get my hopes up!! yeh like thats working) that this lady we are chatting to will be our donor, she's someone that both of us feel is a person we would be friends with if we had met in life.. She seems to think in similar ways to myself and I nearly cried when I read her most current email, out of WOW she's the perfect person for this. Its made me realise just how amazing these women are who would do such a thing, what an amazing gift for someone. Makes me teary!!

We are going to our first meet up this sunday, initially the idea of going to a meet up wasn't great, but the more Ive been on the forum I feel like its actually nice to have a community of people who are doing the same thing. It makes it feel less weird I suppose. You realise that actually theres tons of people out there who have gone through similar or worse and who are embracing the option too. Its nice. I don't know if that helps the undecided ladies in here any? Just to know that even though its total foreign and puts you out of your comfort zone, it can actually end up being a good experience. And there ain't much in this frucked up world of infertility that you can say that about. Lets just hope we have a baby or 2 at the end of it all, one way or another.
I'll be there too, my donor always goes along to these things so its good to catch up with her this way. I'll be the one staring longingly at the wine and beer. Finally I'll meet a bub hubber in real life!

I remember my first meet up, it's a weird experience of feeling awkward and sheepish, (like you are going along hat in hand...please give me your eggs!) and also being really touched by seeing donors with their recipients with babies, bumps or cycling..........

Yes hon, I've texted @Tahli a couple of times now but have not had a response. That's ok though. Sometimes we just need to take a little step back so we can evaluate where we are at in life, and to be able to find a way forward. I reckon our @Tahli is probably checking in and reading all of our posts and getting the support she needs, but is perhaps just not in the right place to be commenting at the moment. I have no doubt she knows how much we care for her and that she will come back to us just as soon as she is able to

Oh no I am severely allergic to caterpillars and the same thing happens to me if one even touches my clothes. I haven't read back yet as just got home but did you go to a doctor you will need to get some medicine. I think I got a really good cream once as well but it was scripted by the doctor. Plus cold showers and ice packs help.

Day 2 scan and bloods okay so green lighted to go ahead and start up al my other meds. Lining is 2mm so pretty good as usually is 4mm for me on day 2 and I know Warren likes it to be thin so hopefully it thickens up nicely in the next week or so. I am not going to be on viagra Warren recommends it for thin lining issues, mine have been okay so he said it was not recommended but it was my call so I decided to take his advice. But just a tip for any ladies who have issues building up the lining Viagra but it has to be made into a progesterone tablet to insert up your bum. Yes your welcome

No welts at all. Just very dry, irritated, red skin which is itchy. It started coming on 2 days ago but like a fool I just figured it would eventually go away. Instead I turned into a beetroot. The chemist gave me some steroid cream which helps a little and I'm taking Claratyne.
