I agree with infinity @winsor. You have been through a huge ordeal losing little Gracie. I am not surprised that the process of looking for a donor is upsetting for you. Please don't close any doors yet. Keep the OE cycle open as Summer said there are FS's out there who will do it. If you are comfortable keep looking at both the local and OS donors too. But don't pressure yourself to make a decision. Remember you're just looking. If none are suitable then perhaps your perfect match is just another week away. Don't forget about the epigenetic influence too. There's a photo on the SA thread someone recently put up of their DE baby and own baby photo. It's astonishing really. I have a link to another one too but I am hesitant to put it up (it's for another site and I don't like to do it without permission) but this lady had a donor that she had never seen (no photos even as a baby) but her DE babies are mini me's of her.

good luck with both your cycles @Maxwellsmum
@Summer oh, that's interesting - I thought it was all clinics that 45 was the limit due to the low chances of it working. which clinic are you at, if you don't mind me asking

thanks @faithandhopellove yes, it's still really early days. this is only the 2nd week since we lost Gracie, so I think I'm having delayed grief mixed in also. not ready to decide just yet. that's encouraging about the epigenetics - I will do some more reading on this. what I had read in the past was encouraging. trying to remember grade 10 biology class on which genes/traits are passed on!

@Maxwellsmum sorry for so many questions. Thanks so much for answering them. I'm not doing my cycle with him. Under his advice i am with a low cost clinic but with his immune support so i will have to ask him about post transfer support when i go back for intralipids.

Yes Wazza did some research while he was on holidays and he has a new drug to try for implantation. I hate to be the one to break it to you but I won't be ripping open any FRHPT as I am on bloody pregnyl boosters so there is next to no point.

    Good luck hon!

@Maxwellsmum that is so exciting! Good luck with your program and I have everything crossed that this is the one that works for you. You have Wazza on side and a new donor - it's all happening!

Well, girls it's the last day of March so I am giving it a send off with the one finger salute. (that's as close as I could get in emoticons).

Hello April. Great time to cycle for Maxwellsmum, for Chiefsgirl to have her Bub and for Blondeinbrisvegas to start a new chapter in her life.

    Any other April goings on?
