Considering my history of being as 'sick as a parrot' on Metformin (I'm not sure how sick a parrot gets, but my guess is it's as sick as me on 1000mgs) what I might do is compromise. I'll wait and see if my ex is going to release enough funds for me to do my DE cycle. And the moment he does I'll start back on 500mgs. What do you think? Otherwise I could be starting back on it for no reason.
I'm really not sure as I really have no idea how it works, if it builds up and helps egg quality or otherwise. My doc was quite vague about it and I was always happy to take it as it knocked the edge off my appetite. Bit shallow I know!

No its not!! I'd take it now if I could.get it if it would help knock the edge off my appetite the way I've been eating the last couple of weeks!!

Wonder if I can order it online???😐

@Summer, I'm so happy that you and DH have made some headway and you now have a firm commitment from him in your quest to have a baby. It is so, so important to have support on this journey and I've really felt for you trying to do this without a great deal of help along the way. Now that DH is on board I hope you can both move forward swiftly and get your next cycle underway ASAP.

    How exciting!

I hear you @Bongley! My walrus tummy has started to deflate and as much as I'm not a fan of Metformin I think I need to give credit where credit's due!!
Warning TMI: It's definitely slow release. A full 2 days after I stopped taking it I had a second case of explosive diarrhea without a split seconds warning, after eating my BFN commiserations GU chocolate cheesecake pudding. Thank goodness I was at home or else I would have been beyond mortified. It's like an alarm system for eating naughty food!!
Also, if I go back up to 1000mg I want regular monitoring by a GP. I'm not putting myself in the position I was in last time of going into hypoglycemic episodes.

I was prescribed 75mg a day and I've been taking it for a couple of months. It's for egg quality so I would assume you take it until Epu??

@calypso75 I was prescribed the same.....75 mg's a day to be taken up to EPU. I had to decrease to 25 mg's from Day 2 of stimms though.

    It's for egg numbers/quality.

Holy ****e @talhi literally sounds awful, sorry no advice on your meds Question as I haven't taken most of the ones you listed. 18yr old eggs sound wonderful travelling donors don't use donors under 20 due to their immaturity but a lot more goes into known travelling donors so that might be why. The known aspect I mean.
@Summer I am so happy you had a chat and a heart to heart and it sounds like you now have a plan A, B and C with your DH on board. August is just around the corner. I had to wait from November till April for my DE cycle well guess what month it almost is and I swear I just blinked.

Well so you may or may not have heard on the news that some moron let 31 dogs out of the RSPCA Townsville shelter adoption pens, so after a rather shi1tty week end there is one gorgeous dog still missing. They were dumped across town. some were as young as 6 weeks old just babies dumped in the street. We have all been out looking for them and rounding them up, hubby and I went out yesterday but no luck. Frucking humans just stink, sorry so mad ATM. I hope they catch these people and charge them. Who The fruck does this.
