My symptoms stepped up a notch over the weekend. I'm about 6wks 5 days and I've had all day sickness for a couple of days now. As with my first pregnancy it starts off fairly mildly in the morning and gets progressively worse as the day goes on. I've also had some food aversions but it's so inconsistent, last night I had to have three bowls of green salad with lots of balsamic vinegar on it, today the thought of it makes me gag! Now I just want a toasted cheese sandwich (or two!).

Anyone else feeling sick or having food aversions?

Hey Hun. I find if I let myself get overly hungry is when I crash and start getting sick (mine is more afternoon/evening).

No aversions yet thankfully. But starting to get tired and been crashing out early. I'm 5w1d today

    Default Hello

Hi all, I am currently 7 weeks went for my scan yesterday and got to see baby's heartbeat was so surreal. Still have to stay on crinone until week 12 fml !!
I have been extremely tired and feeling like I was coming down with a cold last week. Thought I had shaken it off after staying at home and resting but my sore throat came back last night and feel so crappie. And have no idea what I can take i.e gargle
Really don't want to take another day off work but don't want to get worse.
Funny reading the balsamic vinegar craving,I was grating carrots and having it with balsamic vinegar but not can't think about having that..
No throwing up at this stage just feeling nauseous more so at night..
Hope you have all been well

    Hi Kathk18

Ha ha carrots with balsamic vinegar - I'll have to give that one a try when my next balsamic craving strikes! You can take Panadol I think if you're feeling unwell. Depending on where you are there might be an info line about what is and isn't safe to take during pregnancy. Here in SA the Womens & Childrens Hospital run a department that anyone can ring up and they'll tell you what medicines/supplements/alternative medicines etc. are safe to use during pregnancy.

    Hope you feel better soon

    Yay for seeing the HB.

I'll be on crinone for all of my pregnancy as it was IVF but also to try and stop premature birth again.

After saying no food aversions couldn't think of eating my chicken last night lol.

@MaybeBabyIVF oh no way..fs is saying until 12 weeks .. so over it I'd rather through injections and I never thought I would heat myself say that..
Is it safe to have sex before the 12 week mark? I totally forgot to ask at my appointment

Oh no way ! I have been craving bread so much lately..

Yeh they say as long as you aren't bleeding/cramping. I'd take it a little easier with how deep etc as you may find it may irritate the cervix a little ESP being on crinone & may cause a little spotting.
