We will be getting bull calves soon and this is one of the paddocks they will go in, plus the chicken coop is in there. I'd also secretly love to get a horse and it would go in there. The previous owners of our farm did jack all maintenance on the place so we really have our work cut out for us!
I often notice your posts about the new life you have started and I have to say I am pea green with envy. I would love to do what you are doing but do not have your courage, may be one day!

Living on a farm is something I've always fancied, and DP has wanted to for years, long before he met me. It has honestly been so much fun. Scary to think how much work goes into the upkeep of 80 acres, but it beats a gym membership, I know that much! Today I lugged loads of branches up a hilly paddock to a burn off pile. Quite a workout!

As for the lifestyle change, it has taken a huge leap of faith to do something like this. No regrets so far, both DP and I are as happy as pigs in mud out here! 🐷🐮😬

Nothing today. Tomorrow I'll visit my dad for our Easter catch up in the afternoon and then heading to my cousin's house for drinks and nibblies. Sunday full roast lunch at mum's 😃

We had hot cross buns and champagne at my aunty's house with all the extended family all morning. Then DH and I took the 3 kids to see Zootopia (they all behaved thank god!). I'm now home cuddling Mr almost 3-month-old while the toddler watches Netflix and DH has taken Miss 5 to her tennis lesson (yes, they still had a lesson on Good Friday!). Quiet evening at home tonight thank god.
