Same here. DH also has a soft tissue infection in his ankle and is meant to be resting it. Hoping he's OK to go to our local Easter show tomorrow. Lucky we had a pair of crutches around the house... Like you do. Lol

Good Friday- we will go out for fish and chips for lunch. Other than that, the kids will be watching tv and we will be sorting the house- taking turns to settle the baby. House is in a state, as bub spent the first 2.5wks in and out of hospital and the last 1.5wks lots of appts.
Have friends coming over late afternoon to meet the baby.

Holy Sat- Easter Show and Easter Mass that evening

Easter Sun- PILs (we go every second sunday with the kids, and this is our regular sunday, plus we always spend 'event' days with them) as usual... I love them really, but god I want to start our own traditions.

Easter Mon- Manly as H has a meeting, and we will then do something as a family with the kids.

So glad to be home after the easter show. The kids enjoyed it but I feel exhausted.

I remember feeling the same after the Adelaide show. Fun for the kids but so exhausting! Lots going on there

We didn't even do that much. Just walking around and lining up for rides.

We cleaned up the paddock closest to the house, while the kids played outside. The cows came for a sticky beak too. They love to eat the cypress leaves as we chop the lowest branches down.

We will be getting bull calves soon and this is one of the paddocks they will go in, plus the chicken coop is in there. I'd also secretly love to get a horse and it would go in there. The previous owners of our farm did jack all maintenance on the place so we really have our work cut out for us!
