Ive seen some cocky legs waving around on the outside of one of my kids' mouth, just before i reached in and got it out. I dont mind the big bush type cockroaches. Those little german ones are just awful... when we rented a terrace house in sydney once we had an infestation.... it was shocking.

When I was a tween, I woke up because my ear was crackling. I'd been swimming that day, so I tried to clear the water from my ear... and the cockroach who had been burrowing into my ear objected to my fingers touching it, and turned around and clung to my hand as I flung it across the room, squealing. My family was not happy to be woken for such trivial matters. It still makes me shudder.

I found one dead in mum's kettle! I don't know how many cups tea were made with it in the kettle 😖😖
I always check my kettle now when refilling it with water

Lol I'm the designated roach disposer in our office. I used to breed bearded dragons and live wood roaches are part of their diet, so they don't bother me at all. If there's a spider though......that's definitely someone else's domain!

My mum is terrified of them and I remember once she agreed to pick up the dragons food for me and said she almost fell over with relief when she realised they came in plastic containers - she thought she had to scoop live roaches out of a bin or something

I must admit...I wouldn't be thrilled finding one in my coffee or something though..
