Great, thank you ladies it's nice to actually be able to ask my questions to women that have been through it instead of trying to google it for hours or asking the nurse (who is super helpful and friendly - but hasn't been through it if you know what I mean) Can I ask what companies you guys went through?

Sarah1982 I'm sorry to hear you had a bad run- but to end up with twins! What a blessing! I'm on the Sunshine Coast and going through the fertility centre

Lisau77 I'll see how I go over the weekend, didn't know swapping the needles was an option!

@ivf newbie. I ended up going against the specialist advice and transferred 2 embryos. I had to sign consent forms.
It was my last try financially so just wanted to boost them oods abit.
Altho my babies have their own placentas, sacks, membranes etc. And are both the same sex, there is that slight possibility.( I think 30%ish) they could be Identical. That the embryo split pretty much straight after transfer. We wont know until a dna test is done after they r born.

Oh every time I stuck to strict healthy diets. Drank 3 litres of water a day. Pleanty of rest.
The last round which resulted in a positive. I didnt care. I ate and drank crap. Didnt rest. Didnt care what I did or didnt do. The stress of not happening to do everything right helped. And I believe stress was a huge helping factor.
Of course when I got that positive test I then started taking care of myself.

All so my advice is to stay away from google. Dont look up every lil sign, ache, cramp etc, ull drive ur self crazy. Everyones pregnancy is different. Dont do early home tests. That will drive u crazy too. As trigger shots contain hcg. Try not to symptom spot, symptoms can mean many things. It could be from ur meds.
U could be like me...no symptoms, no morning sickness, no implantation bleeding, ive had a cruisey pregnancy so far, no hicups yet. Ur hcg doesnt nessisarly go higher with twins. My friends hcg levels where higher than mine with a sigleton also conceived via ivf.

Every1 will have different advice for you. Just do what u feel is right. Listen to ur specialist. They know what they are talking about. Its their job.

Well done. it does get easier. All I thought about was the end result "BABY" and if I cant do a simple needle, how am I going to survive labour and the other pregnancy tests etc along the way. Heheh.

Goodluck + Keep us updated tho.
Many great threads on here for u to join in on. Everyone is super nice and friendly.
