Im using the S26 gold, i want to change just dont know if its bad to change straight to another formula after only using it for 2 days. And thank you for letting me know that, very helpful! 😊

    Thankyou muchly! 😊

I raised two kids on s26 gold and never had dramas (dd2 was constipated from Heinz) but every baby is different. DD3 is on NAN and is thriving on it. She was on s26 Gold but we wanted to try something different for a change.

Was going to try out the NAN, just dont know if i should wait this one out a little longer as i dont know if it is bad to swap formulas so soon.

I'm on my 2nd Bub with nan ha and no problems. Steer clear of anything GOLD, the iron is too much and is constipating. Also try some cooled boiled water in between feeds to loosen things up a bit.

DD3 is 4 weeks old tomorrow. She was on s26 for about 5 days before we switched.

Don't make the mistake like I did to switch formula without doing the transitioning. Ie, mixing with the new formula and wean it off slowly. My DS was on nan comfort from 3w until about 4 months. S26 (not gold) gave him severe constipation. Dry poo. Nan comfort Didn't give him constipation but gassy which is a separated issue. We have been experimenting formula in the last few weeks to solve his colic problem. His colic problem has gone on longer than it should be. He did worse on those specialty formula like the HA. every baby is different on formula. Your baby might do well with HA. But don't experiment it too much since their stomach is still very immature. We only started trying a lot lately after knowing his stomach is slightly more mature and we r desperate in fixing his gas issue. With the help of paed and gastroenterologist.

Just check the iron content. The higher the likelihood of constipation.

My son also had constipation issues on S26 Gold. When we switched to just normal S26 we didn't have any problems. We found offering a little boiled water in a bottle helped and so did some puree pear once he hit 4 months.

Ps: nan comfort iron content is 0.7mg. S26 is like 0.8mg.
