How old is the baby? I would never deny a child. What's the situation? Where is the baby living? Is the mother ok?

I would do anything I could to be apart of the child's life.
I would be disgusted by my father for not acknowledging a child.

Ditto. It's your half sibling, I don't think I could just ignore it. I'd be compelled to help somehow.

Has your father denied the baby is his? Has there been a test?
Or is he sure the baby is his but he's choosing not to be in the baby's life?
I don't think anyone can tell you what to do in this situation. I think there's a whole lot of "it depends".

I would ask for a DNA test then immerse myself in the babies life.

Have you spoke to your father about this?

Might help to know what's going on - not to say that it's right to just ditch the child, but best to get his version as well.
