Default Hcg rising slowly at 4 weeks

Hi ladies. I'm new here and am sure similar posts have been put up in the past but I'm wondering what you might think. I had an early bfp at 12dpo with a clear blue digi. I went in next morning 13dpo to confirm with a blood test. The dr phoned me with results to say hcg was 48, which she felt was too low. I went in 72 hours later (16dpo) for a second draw (this was yesterday) and the levels have increased to only 105. Doubling rate is 64 hours. Doc said she felt the increase wasn't quick enough. I'm pretty devastated. My last preg ended in mmc at 8 weeks, but I didn't have hcg tested during that pregnancy. I'm sad and worried now about how this could go. Getting another draw on Monday. Sigh...any similar stories/levels? What was outcome if so??!
Thanks ladies. I will post my results on Monday...

From my experience your numbers look ok. The number needs to double at least every 72 hours which yours has. I had he same issue and did a lot of reading about it. It's not the actual number you need to be concerned with rather the rate of increase. You need to do another blood test in another 72 hours time and see if it has at least doubled again. Having said all this I'm not a doctor, this is just what I have read and experienced. Wishing you the best of luck!!!!

Thanks so much for your comforting reply. It really helps to hear that it's not necessarily a foregone conclusion!! I have my next draw on Monday which will 72 hours since the last, but I might not get results until Tuesday which will be an excruciating wait. I'm wondering if there's any point in doing another clear blue digi to see if the number of weeks has gone up from 1-2 to 2-3. I'm know I'm just being nuts right now. Waiting is so hard!!

I know exactly how you feel! It is so hard. Try to occupy yourself as best you can. Go see a movie or something. I hope the time goes quickly for you!

That's helpful, thanks. I keep reading it's about the doubling rate which is where my Dr got me worried. I'm about to go into the office and do some work - on a Saturday - to distract myself, I can't take the wondering! Trying not to stress though as I know that's not helpful.

Anyone else with any similar stories that ended positively?
