@Bundle of joy I just read your signature and seen you had a son born last May too! And now we're back in the IVF boat again at the same time!

I'm jumping over from the March/April thread. Had a FET in April with my last embie which was unsuccessful. (And boy did that period make me suffer! 😝) As it was in Sydney, where I used to live, I flew over for it and made it a family holiday. I have a 2 year old DD which was the success of my previous cycle.
Now I'm in Adelaide at Repromed and see my Fertility Specialist in late May. So will have a full stim cycle the following period. Which will be who knows when because my periods are all over the place. I have blocked tubes due to endo and last year found out I have PCOS too, so no wonder my hormones are all out of whack!
I suffered terribly from chronic fatigue the last few years and have started to feel a bit better recently. Hopefully I'll be good for 3 months in a row by the time we get to out next cycle so my body is able to produce good quality eggs.
I'm seeing a naturopath who has been amazing in helping me get out of this rut aswell as preparing me for pregnancy.
I'll read along and comment when I can. But wishing a smooth journey for all of us. It's a tough ride but definitely made more manageable by having support groups like this.
Good luck to those who are into their cycles already! 😊😊xx
Hi all, I am just a bit worried I might have mild OHSS. I haven't had it before but I feel very different after this egg collection. I have a very bloated and sore tummy just wondering what others have noticed when they have had OHSS....
Hi @julianicholson do you feel dizzy or faint at all?? I had OHSS after my egg collection but I had it very very mild and Apart from feeling slight uncomfort and bloated after the egg collection I didn't notice anything different. They said for me It wasn't a concern unless I went ahead with the et which I didn't.
Do you have a bloodtest scheduled??
Drink lots of water, eat clean food and try and rest. I believe the hormones will start reducing now that you've had the collection and aren't taking anymore.
All this being said...of course I'm not an expert this is just my understanding.
Hi @MissyK I have felt dizzy and faint through the whole process. I am drinking lots and hoping I start to feel better. Other than the bloating and pain I don't have any of the other symptoms. Hopefully all returns to normal soon. Thanks for the info
@Juliannicholson I felt the same after My EPU too. Your ovaries are about the size of grapefruit and they get bigger as each follicle releases lots of fluid. It took a good 5 days for mine to go down, they felt rock hard and sore. If you put in 2-3kg I've heard that's a sign of OHSS. Drink lots of water and hydralite, I found that helped. But if you are concerned maybe call the on call dr?
Im jumping over from the March- Apr thread. Going back to back medicated FET this month. This will be our 5th cycle in 7 months . Playing the numbers game atm. Desperately hoping its our turn next .
Best of luck to everyone. Looking forward to some good egg hauls, lots of frosties & strong BFP's!!
Wow so many new cycle buddies have joined 😆 hope everyone is going good with there cycles and sending love to all those in the dreaded 2ww. I started my menupor injections last night so i have finally started which feels great to be getting somewhere 😀
Welcome new little buddies!! 🤗
@michulu1 has your specialist said anything about looking further to why the FET haven't worked? Mine said she would start wondering why it's not working if this cycle doesn't and might need to do more tests.
Sadly I'm pretty sure I'm out this cycle. I'm still spotting really dark brown blood and even had a tiny amount of tissue. Trying to stay hopeful but realistic I guess. It's a fine line cause I don't want to be terribly sad on test day but I'm also hoping that it's not terrible.
I'm on 4 pessaries a day which is a lot. My progesterone levels and estrogen levels are good I believe (just going by previous tests given I'm on the same dose) and I've never had spotting like this before in 4 cycles. But yea...who knows what's going on I guess. Feeling a bit sad.
sorry for the long miserable post. 😳
