@SurferGalGC I'm also on 150 of puregon. This is my first cycle. My AMH was "great" for my age (29). My FS didn't give me much else than that. At the time I had that tested IVF wasn't on the cards so wasn't overly concerned about the number just that I had eggs.

@Muchulu1 - Great to hear things have improved symptoms wise, not great that your neighbors atunk your house out with varnish without warning, not good for your head especially with all the added hormones.
@SurferGalGC - Great news about your first injection hun, I remember my first one taking me for ever but its a good feeling isn't it, be proud of yourself, unfortunately it becomes second nature after a few, funny what we get used to. As for the level of fsh they usually take it easy and put you on the lower end if you have a high amh. My amh is sky high at 117 and 150 over stimulates me but 133 does nothing so my dose is being alternated between the two. I would say 150 is a good start for someone with a high amh though hun so good luck.
@hopefull29 - Good luck for your scan and bt, hoping its a good result.

AFM - I haven't been feeling too much action in the ovaries yet but tomorrow is my higher dose so hopefully things start to do there thing soon.

Thanks all for the warm welcome!! @hopefull29 @Muchulu1
the nurse gave me my first injection today in the clinic. Lucky I've already done my home work at home watching youtube thanks for modem technology I've watch over how to use puregon pen many times. The nurse was a men and a very handsome one I was too busy watching him not much focusing on the how to assemble the pen hahahaha at the end he asked me to reassemble again but I couldn't bring myself in jabbing myself infront of a stranger so I got him to do it for me but tomorrow morning will be all on my own.

my FS gave me 125 puregon and orgalutran starting on Day 5. then ovidrel for trigger, does that sound normal? @SurferGalGC yay congrats! its my turn tomorrow.

@hopefull29 oh cool, I'm 27 so they weren't super concerned about my amh for now. They just said its high even for my age. I'll be ohss symptom watching just in case I guess!

Is it standard to have a blood test on the same day as follies scan? One of the other ladies said she's having the same but I don't remember my nurse saying that. She probably did though ha! Good luck!!!
@Heyside I did see 150 written on the page but thought that was just my puregon dose, maybe was my amh reading? I didn't really have much context because I didn't know what a normal level was meant to be. But that could make sense if you're high at 117? I guess I'll find out more down the track!

When do you have your scan?
@obesebaby eek, good luck!! I didn't think about youtubing it haha. I hope I did it all right! I'm starting my orgalutran on day 6. I don't know what/when my trigger will be.. is it usually after the follies scan?

@SurferGalGC yes it's been pretty standard for me to get a blood test the day of each scan.

@SurferGalGC I'm pretty sure it's standard to have a blood test same day as your ultrasound. They use both the blood test (checking hormone levels) and ultrasound results to determine when to trigger or if medications need to be increased.
All the best with your injections over the next few days. Fingers crossed you have no symptoms from them like myself.
