    @Apples1234 @Heyside

I think you may be right - a second opinion may be a good idea. The embryologist also suggested a calcium boost to the fertilisation medium for what that is worth. I think then coenzyme q10 is not a bad idea.
It's certainly making me think about plan B though even though I'm really not ready to give up hope just yet.
Crossing fingers that some luck comes to you both x

I was going to ask the same thing.

Are you happy with your FS? And have you considered a second opinion? May be worth it before paying for another cycle.

I'm day 11 with my cycle and today have started to feel a bit bloated, but it's not too bad. They'll put me on a drug to prevent it and said to keep my fluids up over the weekend.

I think with my PCOS I produce lots of eggs...what I need is quality. Just one good one pleeeeeaase.

My question for people who have had OHSS is when did you feel symptoms?
@lotsathoughts I got OHSS on my last fresh cycle. It was bad as soon as I came out of the anesthesia. DH had to take me home in a wheelchair. Was at its worst 5days post EPU. I think I remember one of the nurses saying the hormones peak around day4/5 post EPU so the symptoms can get worse before they get better? Was put on ralovera, cabergoline, clexane & baby aspirin. When things were at their worst I was also on Ondansetron for the nausea. It wasn't much fun but the upside was we got 20 eggs & 8 frosties.
Just follow your FS & nurses instructions. The nurses called me everyday (sometimes 2-3times to check in). They were all very lovely. Lots of fluids, electrolytes, protein & regular bowel movements are key to recovery.
Wishing you all the best. Hope you get some quality eggs. Any idea when you'll be in for EPU? Sounds close!

@Hopeful89 yep I've had a few Generals but not with IVF. I got 14 eggs with a local last time and was fine, but not sure how many follicles there were. I'm just going to follow their suggestions with a GA as they know their stuff. I really would love quality too. My aim is to get two to match last cycle. Any more is a bonus. 👏🏼
@Heyside thanks for that info about trigger. I think my bloods looked good so they were happy to keep the same trigger. And so looking forward to a good sleep, haha!👌🏼😴
@Muchulu1 your experience with OHSS sounds awful. Thanks for all the info, have taken a screen shot to refer to later.
Been drinking electrolytes all night, a protein shake and had some yummy pulled pork for dinner so hopefully covering some of those bases.

EPU will be Monday at 7:50am! So just took my last injections before trigger tomorrow night.

I'm so happy it's the weekend...no school, no scans or bloods and an extra pair of hands to help with DD. May attempt some reports but not sure yet.
Going to relax as much as I can 👌🏼

Thanks for all the info everyone, much appreciated 😊

@lotsathoughts I forgot to say... the GA is really nice! I've had it for both of my fresh cycles. Best sleep ever!
