1st injection done tonight, hopefully only another 8 to go!
For those ladies that do get side effects from the injections do you start getting them straight away or a few days in?

We got news this morning from the dr that out of our 12 eggs collected and fertilised with ICSI that we have only 4 embryos
We now wait til day 5
I'm just wondering what other people have experienced and what conversion rates were
I'm just hoping we get that one lucky one
    Fingers crossed

    Hi There,

we have to use ICSI and with our 2 IVF cycles we have ended up with 11 eggs, 4 fertilised, 3 matured with the first cycle and 4 with our most recent. So your results are very similar to mine.

With my first cycle I got side effects straight away with my next cycle I got them a day or two in, this could also be because I knew what to expect. All the best, it does just become routine, I did end up taking a day off of work in my first cycle because I was so tired. Just listen to your body it will tell you if you need to rest.

The only one that really bothered me was the trigger shot - it was painful and itchy. Can't recall what it was off the top of my head (Ovadril maybe?) but I had the Puregon pen for stimming and it didn't bother me much.

First collection we had 11 eggs collected, 4 making it to day 5 embryos resulting in ds1.
Second collection we had 7 eggs collected, 4 making it to day 5 embryos resulting in ds2.
Third collection we had 7 collected, 2 making it to day 5 embryos resulting in ds3.
Unfortunately we had very little success with frozen embryos surviving the thaw.
    Wishing you lots of luck!

Unfortunately my fears are realised - the embie does not look good. They will ring tomorrow morning and I've been told not to leave my house until I hear from them. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard - both my previous FETs had trouble with defrost, the first rallied a bit so they went ahead (BFN) the second was a double and one was okay one was not but I still got both put in (chem pregnancy).
