@Evelynmoo how long did you go df/gf/sf for? It can take 6-9 months before you notice a difference. Gluten in particular can take that long to fully leave your system, then if accidentally have a little bit you've gotta start again. But sometimes it can not even be those things causing an issue, I'm intolerant to things like zucchini and apples. It's so hard to work these things out though. I would definitely go and see another specialist because you can't keep living like that, it's horrible and those days you have to go too often your probably not absorbing all the nutrients in your food. All the best on Monday, fingers crossed they might have some answers for you!

Thanks @Heyside yep it sure has been, but I guess I'm lucky that were still quite young. I'm 29 DH 32 so I think that's helping me to stay positive but I also think that's why things were brushed off a little about there not being other issues. All good now though, it's been a massive learning curve and as silly as it sounds I've enjoyed learning so much and know it'll make me stronger and give me the opportunity to help others in the future. It also put me on the path to better health and looking after myself. Things happen for a reason x

I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago which showed nothing but im wondering how skilled the doctor was as i dont like the gp who referree me to him. So im going back to another gastro to ask some questions on monday and get a ct scan coz i dont care how much radiation im exposed too anymore
I have this same problem!! Switches whenever it wants. I did feel a lot better off gluten and sugar but I've fallen off the wagon. I seem to have more health issues (ie right now) when I eat it.

Husbands away for 2 weeks which makes it easier to eat sugar free. Hes the bad influence at home with sugar lol. 3 years ago i went sugar free, the only sugar i got was from fruit, while husband was away for 6 months and omg did i lose sooo much weight, i didnt mean to lose weight but it just dropped off me and i drank a lot of green tea too to detox. I started drinking green tea a couple of weeks ago again but my heart cant handle the caffeine so im just drinking herbal teas instead.

I need to get healthy again. It's hard when you're struggling and emotional on IVF. I just want chocolate and pizza! My husband is the same! He loves soft drink and lollies! 🙈 I've been eating bad and I feel like ****e at the moment. Sending u some hugs and support. You've been through a lot. I've been pretty quiet cos I've had a real rough time with anxiety and depression. Starting to get a bit better. Xxx

@Evelynmoo - Let it all out hun you are definately allowed to get emotional and its best to release it.
@hopefull29 - Its great you have age on your side hun, and yes I with you on learning so much and being so much stronger, however sometimes I think it would be nice to not to have to be so strong and maybe not know so much haha!
@Apples1234 - Wazza has you make sure you are 7 days post pregnyl booster before testing. Some ladies probably get it out of the system quicker than that but it should definitely be gone by then.

As for the eating healthy I went fully paleo before my last full IVF cycle due to my pcos, I was seeing a naturopath who promised me the world, maybe I would have seen more benefit if I had continued for longer than 4 months but after my blighted ovum which I carried until 11 weeks I went off the rails and used food for comfort. It took me a long time to get back on track and now 8 am eating low gi again.

Anyone any ideas how I can ease the side effects of the prednisone, my anxiety has set in again today after a week of taking it. I am on a higher dose this time and have a long time ahead on it so preparing for the worst.
