@hopefull29 we did a few fets first time round. One of which resulted in DD so hopefully we'll have some luck with feet this time too and won't have to do another fresh cycle. Funny to think that if one of our frosties takes we would have two children of different ages but conceived on the same day. Are you doing a fet or fresh cycle? @lotsathoughts DD is 13mths now. Good luck with number 2

@Bellydance this is my first ever IVF cycle. So really not sure how my body is going to respond. I'll start nasal spray next week, injections a few weeks after that. All going well egg collection will be 2nd week in June.
@reband I have fibroids. I had surgery last year to remove them. Post surgery the specialists told me all went well and would now not have any issues falling pregnant. 6 months later and 3 clomid cycles still no success, so I was sent off for a tubal patency test. Turns out a still have 1 fibroid on the outside of my uterus (which is v abnormal) and the location of it is pushing on my tube causing it to close. Hence the reason we're now doing IVF. The surgery is too risky to remove it and as its not causing any other issues this was our best option. What symptoms do you get?
@Juliancholoson at least being busy means you've got something to take your mind off things, I really hope all 4 are viable. I have a good feeling they will be! Keep us updated. It must be hard your bestie being due, I know that feeling very well. What made me super mad when my bestie was pregnant she just complained the whole time, and basically really rubbed it in my face, needless to say my "bestie" and I are not so close these days. It's amazing how some people show their true colours. I have other friends who are so considerate and supportive though. I hope your bestie is one of the good ones.

@hopefull29 I suffer from extremely heavy periods that are also very painful and require me to stay home for at least 2 days a month to be near the bathroom (sorry TMI). I had to have IVF for my almost 4 year old DD due to issues with DH. This time it's both of us. I had a resection of one big fibroid last year (done by our FS) but it made no difference. We got a second opinion and it turns out there are heaps more under the lining of my uterus.

Oh @reband that sounds horrible. You poor thing. I'm so lucky that I don't get any symptoms. The only reason I knew about the first lot of fibroids was due to infertility investigations. My FS and GP were absolutely shocked that I don't get any pain (I almost think they didn't believe me). I won't know I've got my period until I go to the bathroom. Thanks for sharing your symptoms, I really had no idea they could be that bad.
So once you've finished having children does that mean you'll need to have a hysterectomy? Man it sucks being a women sometimes. Fingers crossed for this cycle for you xx

@hopefull29 yep I need to have a hysterectomy and I'm only 34 this year. I'm going to be high risk with this pregnancy. If this pregnancy doesn't happen we have one more frozen emby left. Once we have used that I'm done. The doctor doesn't think my body would cope with starting again. It took a long time to get my head around so right now all I want is for this one to stick 😉
