@debora Sorry to hear the timing didn't quite work out. That hurts 😔. IVF has this amazing capacity to put our lives on hold. Have a good cry & get it out. Hope your feeling a bit better tomorrow. Take care. Hugs

What are you doing atm? I am waiting for my transfer on tuesday. Have 4 frozen snow-babies. Doing natural FET with progesterone passeries and pregnyl as a support. ☺ how old is your son?
Our little boy turned 3 in January :-)
We are off to Bali on Thursday so we miss out on doing a cycle this month. This will be our 8th transfer and unfortunately we don't have any embryos left so we need to start again. This will be our 6th transfer with Graham. I probably have seen you at concept. Its such a shame because I see women there that were there when I did my first cycle and they still don't have a child yet :-(

    Hello,
I thought I'd jump in and introduce myself.
I am lucky enough to have an amazing little girl from my first round of ivf and some snow-babies waiting for a chance at life. So come June I'll be back on the ivf wagon trying to make a little brother or sister.
We'll do a natural felt. Just waiting for day 1 to come around so we can get started again...

@debora the delays can be very upsetting because you get yourself mentally ready then need to wait. I feel relieved when the cycle actually begins. Use this time to look after yourself and rest up when you can.

Welcome @Bellydance , fingers crossed you are able to get that sibling for your DD soon. How old is she? I have a 2yr old DD who I'm hoping to do the same for.

AFM we saw our FS early as he had a cancellation! Wohoo! We were supposed to be seeing him May 20 but saw him last Friday. So as a result we'll start our next cycle when AF arrives (who knows when??!) but it could be within the next week.

This cycle feels more relaxed and it seems like I have less bloods and scans compared to my last stim cycle so I'm feeling quite good about it all.
They're going to use Viagra pessaries to try and thicken my lining (it was 6mm last round and thinner the round before). Has anyone used or heard of that?

Also the drugs are much cheaper this time round. Bonus.

We are flying back from a night away in Syd at a friend's wedding. A lovely mini break...thank goodness for air points 👍🏼

    Default IVF/FET May-June 2016

Hi. I haven't had a chance to read thru the thread yet, but will later on today. I'm not sure if I'm in the right group, but I had my transfer on Thursday and this 2WW is driving me crazy already!!! Today I feel so nauseous, and had cramps since Friday... Fingers crossed this will work because the last 12 months have been a huge roller coaster ride for us. I wanted to ask does anyone else in this group have fibroids that cause real issues for them? I have them and now need a hysterectomy to get rid of them. I already have a DD who is 4 in June.

    Hi All,

welcome to everyone who I haven't spoken to yet. Sorry I have been quiet this week, first week back at school has kept me uber busy as well as my DH flying back to work (he is FIFO).

An update on my embryos, we went from 7 to 4 but that is pretty standard for us, they have been biopsied so now we have to wait 2 weeks for the PGS results, fingers crossed all 4 will be okay. I haven't even allowed myself to think about none of them being viable.

I have been super emotional this week as all of the hormones leave my body from the stim cycle and by the sounds of it I am not alone. This is such an exhausting experience.
@reband you are definitely in the right place, we are all at varying stages but some are definitely in the 2WW. It is the longest and torturous time where you feel crappy, fingers crossed this transfer works for you.
@hopefull29 I know the feeling oh too well, pregnant people everywhere! One of my best friends is due with her 2nd in 3 weeks time which has been tough because I want to be there for her which I have been but at the same time I want to burst into tears whenever I see her. I have told a few people at work and close friends and family. I stopped giving them updates after we had the m/c as I didn't want to go through discussing our journey anymore because it was upsetting to tell people when things weren't working.

I hope you are all having a lovely relaxing weekend. I am enjoying knowing I have you all to share my journey with and I can share in yours, this support is amazing.
