    Default Age for three year old kinder

    What age can kids who are born early in the year can attend 3 year old kinder in victoria?

    I think it varies from kinder to kinder. The kinder DS1 attended had a cut off of March 1 (had to be 3 by that date) so technically kids could start aged 2 years and 10.5 months.

    They can be enrolled if they are 3 before April 30th but can not attend until they have turned 3 due to ratios of adults to kids being different for under 3s. My son got lucky and the first day of kinder was his 3rd birthday so he didn't miss any.
