Default What kind of rash could this be?

So DS had a high temp on Saturday arvo, miserable and grumpy all Saturday night and Sunday. Temp went up and down. Monday morning he's fine. Temp back to normal and chirpy as. So today sent him off to do day care, he was fine all day. Get a phone call just before 3 to say he has a bit of a rash. It's on his cheeks, belly and back. Not really bad but just thought I'd ask. I thought maybe a post viral rash? We've never had that. He gets a heat rash on occasion but it goes away quickly.

Best pictures I could get. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1458024711.845444.jpgImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1458024727.318552.jpg
First with flash (looks a lot worse with the flash lol)
He won't actually sit still enough to let me get more pictures.

He should be ok for swimming tomorrow right? It's not easy to get into our doctor and he doesn't seem to stressed by it.

And sorry about the pictures! That looked Alot clearer on my phone 😑

I would say a viral rash - its the right time frame from when he was sick.

Thank you 😀 I don't really need to worry about that do I? Obviously I'll keep an eye on and make sure it doesn't change.

If he has was unwell the night before going to kindy I don't think sending him to kindy was a good idea as he could pass on whatever he has to other kids and if he now has a rash I would be taking him to the Drs no one on the Internet is going to be able to tell you what it is for sure

He wasn't sick the night before. He was unwell Saturday and Sunday. By Sunday night he was 100% better. Monday he was fine and we sent him on Tuesday.
I'm not asking for a diagnosis. A lot of parents on here have dealt with viral rashes before and that is what I think it may be so asking an opinion. But cheers for yours. 👍

Sorry I misread where you stated it was today that you sent him.

I think with any rash you should seek a Dr's opinion.
