Going to get a cake made I think, I'll do some cupcakes myself, order some pizzas and make a cob dip too... then do some finger foods like pin wheels and sausage rolls etc. Might throw in some jelly cups, fairy bread and lollies.

What's the best idea for drinks? Water with some mint / lemon and a punch in those drink dispenser things? Anyone have some good punch recipes that appeal to kids & adults?
The kids and I prefer water plain without anything added.

Hopefully someone else can offer some good recipes.

I have a berry punch if you'd like the recipe. It's a lovely pink colour.

You could hire a jumping castle for a day. We do this often and the kids love it.
Another thing seeing as though you mentioned it being at the end of the year if the weather is nice and hot you could get a baby pool, some sand and have a tropical theme. Maybe a slip n slide too.

    Lolly hunts
Games like musical statues, sack races with old pillow cases.
    Pass the parcel..
