    Default Desperate for advice!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but someone else's opinion would help so much!
Exactly one week ago I took a HPT and it was positive. Faint, but definitely positive. I had all kinds of symptoms as well. Yesterday my period was due and it didn't arrive. It is always very regular and arrives on the same day each month. However, I took a test today and it was negative? Am I just over thinking the faint line? Is there a chance it could have been a false positive? Any help would be much appreciated. I'm desperate for answers

Hi, just wondering if you used the same brand tests from when you got the faint positive at all? If you're not sure I'd go to your GP & ask for a blood test so you know what's going on. Good luck

Thanks for replying! I used the same brand from the same box. First response tests.
Thanks, I'm planning on going early next week if nothing changes.

Sounds like a Chemical pregnancy, which is basically a very early miscarriage. I had a faint line for two days then disappeared. I felt the HCG enter my blood and felt bad then I felt good again when it was over.

    Oh no, that's terrible.
Is there a way of confirming if that has happened?
I'm sorry you had that happen to you as well

You can go to the dr and have your HCG checked. Best to do this anyway to make sure either way. If there's no or low HCG it means it probably was.

I'm sorry Hun, I know how exciting it is to get a positive. Your GP is the best place to go though.
