Fwiw my mc was tested and shown to be a chromosomal abnormality-no. 22 to be exact, its the sad reality of being our age I guess.

did you miscarry at home @tuxcat? or at the hospital. I think it probably would be a chromosome issue and nature taking its course. I just wish she'd been a normal like we'd hoped

That one was never tested for us but it was a DE baby so could have been ok. Can you get your hands on any prednisone just for the next couple of weeks? Sorry might be bad advice and I'm certainly not a dr.

I'm not sure. would that be able to revert the slowed heartrate though? I thought once that happened there wasn't much more that could be done. it was 108-111 when measured 6w3d and has fallen to 88 when measuring 7w1d

We found out at the 12 week scan, I had spotting around week 6 and then saw the hb but was measuring a week behind. Then at 12 weeks it hadn't grown any more and had no hb so I had a d&c that week.

Sorry to say but it's now measuring 2 weeks behind and has a slowing hb so it's slowing down. Nothing more you can do except look after yourself xxx

@Gagingi that is such great news !
@Tahli bubba chiefsgirl may or may not have given me a few kicks and high fives when I read a few updates. . . . Just saying
@BlondeinBrisvegas fwiw I think you are amazing. I think you're doing the right thing by going to counselling, and enforcing the break. If nothing else it will truly show him that his actions have repercussions. I'm glad he was honest and open with you and that you can go into the counselling with an open mind. As a child of divorced parents who never spoke a civil word till I was 18 if you can do all you can to co-parent in a way that doesn't impact your child then you are doing a great thing.

On a lighter note, came home from ob appt today and DH called me plump! Can you effin believe it? Tried to tell me he was describing my 'round bubba bump' when I asked him in an outraged voice if he had seriously just called me fat😫 told him to ask the guys at work tonight what their wives would have said if they had said that to them - men!

    Hooray @Gagingi! You have frosties!

Am I right in saying that embies don't need to be pretty, they just need to be genetically viable?

Also awesome that you're getting a bit of a break from the meds (for the moment)... this is so tough on the body isn't it?
