such a sad thing to happen. I'm sorry you had to find out like that too. what a shock
yes, I counted the days she'd grown, I think she grew till monday at least and may have started dropping off then
@Gagingi that is such great news !
@Tahli bubba chiefsgirl may or may not have given me a few kicks and high fives when I read a few updates. . . . Just saying
@BlondeinBrisvegas fwiw I think you are amazing. I think you're doing the right thing by going to counselling, and enforcing the break. If nothing else it will truly show him that his actions have repercussions. I'm glad he was honest and open with you and that you can go into the counselling with an open mind. As a child of divorced parents who never spoke a civil word till I was 18 if you can do all you can to co-parent in a way that doesn't impact your child then you are doing a great thing.
On a lighter note, came home from ob appt today and DH called me plump! Can you effin believe it? Tried to tell me he was describing my 'round bubba bump' when I asked him in an outraged voice if he had seriously just called me fat😫 told him to ask the guys at work tonight what their wives would have said if they had said that to them - men!
Hooray @Gagingi! You have frosties!
Am I right in saying that embies don't need to be pretty, they just need to be genetically viable?
Also awesome that you're getting a bit of a break from the meds (for the moment)... this is so tough on the body isn't it?
Just got home from work another 14hr day but i am now caught up.
@Tahli im soooooo excited but that is all i will say for now
@ganganini fabulous news fx for 2 precious pgd normals for you as you have certainly earnt them
@Bib whenever i read your posts i always immediately think you know what this woman is amazing and really always puts her LO first. Everything you do is for her or with her best interests at heart. So i think whatever you decide it will be right. I think councilling will help dh transition to that mind set as well.
@Precious40 i think fet are around 3 or 5 days post ovulation? So if yours is 3de then 3 days post but im not sure. One these lovely ladies will know. My af is due 6th April but im having scratch and flush end of march which may change that im told?
Rubywoohoo we've unfortunately transferred a hatching PGD normal with Wazza's full pharmacy and it didn't take, so unfortunately, genetic viability isn't necessarily enough, however Wazza loves his ugly duckings and both he and Charlotte have had couples be successful in their 40s with poorly rated embies, so it's worth a shot. I just didn't feel up to a transfer this time (but wasn't going to throw an embie), so was very relieved that both surviving embies could be PGDed and frozen.
I heard from the nurse late today and they are expecting I'll get AF early, so sounds like I'll only get a few days med-free and she suggested I may as well stay on Prednisone (blergh!!! - after a week I've got a moon face again - last time it took a month). My body is really rebelling against the meds ATM, but if that is what it takes, then so be it.
Well I've missed a few pages recently ..... It's only taken me a few hours to catch up
I've been crying nearly all the way through @winsor. My heart is breaking for you xxxx. No words can describe what you both must be feeling. I'm sending you both the biggest virtual hug
