OK, I've just caught up on the day's posts

@Tahli, waiting with baited breath over here. It's been a good long while since I've seen a nice stick pic, and baby, it's gonna fall to you to provide me with one! Have everything here crossed and double crossed for a nice strong line on your next stick

@Bongley, a super huge THANK YOU for answering my newbie EDA questions. Your insight is very much appreciated and you highlighted some of the things I did have concern about already. I have been busy adding a signature to my introduction post and am trying (God, how I am trying) to get an avatar up. My photo is currently on my sister's laptop being adjusted to size as we speak

@BIB, you raise an interesting point with bargaining your photo for a BFP from @Tahli. I would so love to see what everyone looks like IRL but understand that anonymity is important also. So, I'm throwing it out there. If any of you would like to become one of my very limited group of facebook friends please send me a PM and we can go about finding each other on FB. I will preface this by saying that I don't talk IVF on FB EVER as most of my friends/family etc don't know we are doing it. But it might be nice to see what everyone looks like and that sort of thing. Anyway, the offer is there to become Blossom's FB friend

@BIB, regarding your issues with ex-DH. I think that counselling might be quite beneficial if for no other reason than to help you co-parent your LO effectively and manage your separation and the grief that entails with a mutual understanding of the other person's point of view. I don't believe it is appropriate to discuss reconciliation because as you said yourself, you are still coming to terms with the separation itself and whilst ex-DH might be seeing the error of his ways in actual fact nothing has yet changed.

You might get back together and you might not, I think it is simply too early in the piece to tell right now. The most important thing (I think) is to make a nice home for yourself and DD, get back a little independence and set yourselves up for the long haul so at the very least you have a safe place to fall each night. Sending you big hugs hon. Separation is a big thing to go through and what with 9 years of history and your DD to consider you are doing a marvellous job.

@Blossom74 Yep..everything you've said and point you've raised is spot on Luv

It's far too early in the piece and all I'm willing to do at this stage is go into it with an open mind and heart with no promises of anything
on the proviso of course, that he moves out as I need/want my independence and space.

I shall send you a PM and accept your F/Book offer but will not friend you/you me?? until after I've honoured my contract with the Universe here on the thread and posted my pic after confirmation of @Tahli's BFFP!!

    A deal is a deal!!!

@JulieMalooley You may like to check your work email address. xx
Girls, I tried to take a pic and email it to Julie. Although I can see the teeny tiny barely there squinter on my Ipad, once it attached to Julie's email and I sent it, it wasn't really visible, even when pinching and enlarging the image. So I'm really sorry I can't share a pic yet.

If you go to counselling, things improve, you can always move back in together. But the default option of "easiest", perhaps from the other parties perspective is seldom "best" imho. We are all here in your corner no matter what.
@Tahli it's hard not to use caps or emoticons but I don't want to jinx so will stay here quietly jumping up and down (well as much as I can with a bump) and fist pumping the air for you.
Absolutely Luv...he definitely has to move out asap. That's the deal in exchange for me going to counselling.

Ladies your support this week has been amazing and I think your well wishes might have helped turn things around. Two of our little embies from this last cycle have made a day 6 run for it and have been PGDed and are now frosties. One was described as looking good (5BB), whilst the other is 5CC. Apparently with the CC, freezing is just as tough on embies as PGD, so they agreed to PGD it. At least we'll know where we stand and it's made it to the freezer. So our week has taken another turn on the IVF rollercoaster! Plus without a transfer I'm on the least drugs I've been on for 3 months (yeah!), although I'll probably have to start preparing for our FET next week... We've never had a good looking embie before and usually only have one at day 5 if we are lucky, so this has given us hope at the very least.
