@Gagingi - this time I am doing Gonal f 225 ( which I did in my very first cycle) with 75 iu of luveris. I have done one pure Gonal f and two menopur so wanted to change something for this last cycle. He wasn't keen on doing a cycle without some level of added lh. It's hard to know as I got no normal embryos using FSh only and none normal using FSh and lh. That makes me think no matter what I do I will get the same result. Anyway, I have also changed the trigger to lucrin - my request just to change something again. My FS wasn't in favour of double ovidrel trigger given my pattern of high egg numbers , high e2 and OHSS risk. My FS didn't recommend I do a fourth cycle given my terrible results to date but said he'd support me doing one albeit with his arm twisted up his back!

I think doing an fet next month will give you a rest ( in a way). Hopefully you won't need to do another stim cycle!

@Caesardust - agree with that Gagingi said. Monash takes exactly 3 weeks to get results (from Brisbane anyway). As an example, I had me EPU mid Jan and PGD results came 8 or 9 Feb. had I prepared for a transfer ( which I didn't) and got a normal I would have been able to do a transfer in Feb as ovulation day was 7 Feb and transfer would have been 5 days after that.

Re PGD... So it takes about 3-4 weeks. So you can't transfer the month you cycle, and not the following either Bcos if AF comes even approx 14 days after EPU then the next month is out as well. So it works out at being not the stim cycle, & not the next cycle, but the cycle after that is possible. It's a bummer but in the long run is worth it X
Thanks @Charlie but couldn't they prepare you for a fet on the cycle following Epu based on the presumption you may get a normal Pgd embie?

So if Epu was late April. Then next cycle started mid May so transfer would be in late May. Pgd results would be in beginning to mid May. Does that sound right?

I'm sorry I'm just not keeping up with everyone personally, I'm in a conference & there is actually no internet service in the training room so I can't even sneaky check when the speaker is boring 😝
@Blossom74 I'm so sorry you're hanging up your POAS sticks for this cycle & that it appears to be end of your OE quest... Take the time to grieve for this part of your journey as this is a very difficult thing to have to face. I always have to remind DH that I can grieve the loss of never having my own biological child, at the same time as being hopeful about a DE child - they are not mutually exclusive emotions. Go gently sweetheart 💗
@Tahli patch up that bubble STAT!! It is not time for the bubble to burst my stick-wh0re friend, you are most definitely PUPO & no chocolate eating binge is going to change that. Have a good chat to those little snuggling in bubbas & have a good sleep & hopefully that bubble will repair overnight. Hang in there love, you are doing great 💖
@Bongley I am so happy the scan went well for you & you got to see more of your little darling!!! Hope the next week is not going to stress you too much, it is such a tragic situation 😢
@winsor oh hon any colour would be stressful but it does sound like some sort of pessary irritation - go the back door if you need to & give your v-jay jay a break, rest up & go for a scan ASAP if you are worried at all.

Love to everyone else & I will try to catch up more tomorrow xxxxx

Well I was definitely told we couldn't transfer the following cycle, it would have to be the one following that.

Maybe that's an LB thing? Not sure.. If the other girls have said that with Monash they could've transferred the next cycle maybe it is an LB preference not to allow it? It frustrated me at the time, BUT it also made sense in the end... To prepare for a transfer that might not happen Bcos you don't know what ur embie results will be is essentially a waste of money, & it means ur taking meds etc & preparing ur body for transfer knowing that there may not even be a transfer if your embies aren't normal. But maybe other FS are happy to prepare ur body, start drugs or hormones and just take a chance hoping you'll get normal embies. Having just had an FET cancelled day before transfer I have to say id never ever want to do all that whilst waiting for PGD results too. Bcos waiting on those results is nerve wrecking enough without doing 2-3 weeks of meds etc & then it all being for nothing.
@Caesardust - on my first cycle I prepared for an fet the next cycle in the hope I would get a PGD normal embryo. There was no cost but maybe that was because I didnt take any meds and only had a trigger shot . That could be the reason my FS said I could prepare for a transfer the next month. Might be a different story of it was a medicated fet. I did this on my second PGD cycle as well and on the third decided not too as I found the disappointment harder to deal with when I had nothing to transfer. I think preparing for an fet gets your hopes up even though you try and tell yourself it doesn't.

@infinity888 I get it for $75 at Terry White. I'd see if your local pharmacy can order it for you - most have a relationship with a compounding pharmacy (allow a week). The pharmacy you mention is very very expensive - great at 7am on a Saturday to get IVF drugs, but not so good for non-PBS. A few girls on here get it posted too and that is $70-85 I think incl postage.

Are you on melatonin or Trental too? Again other pharmacies are cheaper.
