@Charlie74 @Tahli Well...what a pair of crunts (yes, I'm pulling THAT word out because they deserve it!!) those A/holes were hey???

I don't know if I've given the impression my Ex was cheating from my post yesterday...he wasn't, he only joined those sites I posted about after we'd separated (I've had access to his email, phone etc from my computer for years not to keep tabs just because it's easier for me to go grab what I need to do whatever I've needed to do being the captain of the "Mothership" here).

Honestly, what a pair of Pr*cks!! Both better off without them and have proven that by moving on in one way or another and being bloody happier for it!!!

@Tahli Now, don't be letting the "BFN Blues" get to you Luv, you know it's far too bloody early!!!!

I know how badly you want it and the thought of it all failing etc, plus the hormonal sh!tstorm you're caught up in with all the Leutal support...the pressure and stress just gets too much sometimes. Take comfort in your chocolate and ice-cream Luv. You have my full permission to give the comfort eating a bloody good nudge!!

@Charlie74 Your friend sounds like she was more than a bit judgy and insensitive not to mention unsupportive of you. Why she was being a biatch to you who knows???

I'll tell you what I think though....I think in a weird way that she's jealous of you Luv Not of the IVF, but of the fact you've had all of your adult life to live it just the way you please. You got a career, have probably travelled, had love and romance, could come and go as you please, etc, etc and for her, well, she chose to continue on with a pregnancy when she was quite young and then having a couple more kids to boot which effectively have taken up her life.

She hasn't gotten to experience what you have and never will because those young, carefree days are gone and you can't have them back and just maybe she's feeling a bit dissatisfied with her lot at the end of the day?? Either way, no need to be a nasty biatch about it to you.

Actually, in many ways I feel sorry for my Ex as I know he's feeling lonely and has self esteem issues etc as well as his back problem depressing him.

I think he's just a bit desperate for company etc...Bit sad really

Hi ladies, sorry I've been AWOL. I'm so over IVF and have been really ill and just unable to keep up. A virus or two on top of back-to-back stim cycles (with new protocol) and DH has been sick as well. I woke up this morning feeling vaguely human, to be told that it looks like none of our 8 embies from this cycle will make it (day 5 today). DH is away and my mother has no empathy and worse still thinks she does. Apparently because I have a niece and nephew that should fulfil DH's and my parenting dreams!?! I have been reading along on the forum when I can, but feel like I've slept the last few weeks away.
@Tahli - congrats on being PUPO. I read a little chocolate is fine. It's much lower in caffeine than coffee...
@Blossom74 - I'm so sorry Hun. Hugs. Glad you have a plan.
@winsor - I'm hoping it's just pessaries aggravating your cervix or something? Hugs.
@Charlie74 - hugs to you too.

Hi to everybody else - I'll try to keep up.

@Charlie74 Now don't go putting the cart before the horse Luv ok??

I know it's hard not to think ahead & have a Plan B, C or D sometimes but please try to just live in the moment as that's the only thing you can control.

Other than that...you have to give the protocol LB is implementing a go & hope for the best.

You can try other protocols like the viagara pesseries if things are looking like they're going to turn to sh!t. If LB won't do it go to a FS that will.

There are many combinations of all the pills, patches & pessaries you can try if needs be before you even have to contemplate surrogacy.

    One day at a timexo

Try not to panic Luv, could just be your cervix irritated by the pessaries ok??

Put your feet up as much as possible and if there's even the slightest change in your condition in any way, haul a r s e up to the hospitalxo

@Lastround yeah, DE isn't for everyone, it's a whole new mountain to climb, or so it feels like when you start out. The waiting times really vary I think depending on how you find a donor. If you go overseas then you are looking at as little as 6 weeks. On EDA (egg donation australia) it's more like a matter of months than years but you have to be active on the site. I put my advert up in march last year and found my donor in may I think it was.

I had my 15 week scan today and all was well. I didn't get to see much of the bub at 12 weeks (the screen was broken) so it was great to see him and it's helped me bond a lot more I think I've felt much more anxious with this pregnancy. If I'm honest it's a mix of 10% detached at not having the genetic connection as well as feeling very fatigued and 90% worrying about coping but I'm getting there!

    good luck everyone....

    Great news about bub Luv!!

Glad you got a decent look at him today as well
