    Default IVF over 40 #28

@Blossom74 I'm sorry sweetie, I think sometimes you do know, deep down, when it hasn't worked.

As for forging a connection with someone online to donate embryo's, well you have forged a connection with us in here, so I think you'll be fine doing it out there. If we were allowed to donate embryo's I'd give you some of ours, but by law in the US, because dh didn't pay for extra testing, we can't.

Don't despair, something will work out, when you least expect it xxxx

Glad you are settling in to EDA @tuxcat it is a bit weird to begin with until you start making genuine connections with other recipients, as you say. It was a good distraction as I came to the end of trying with my own eggs. It was also handy to talk to my counselor about coming to the decision to stop trying with my OE and also the doubts/questions I had about DE at the same time.

Today would be 10dp2dt, or 12dpo. Not even a hinter of a squinter

@Blossom im so sorry hon. I would say hold out til tomorrow but if deep down you know it hasn't worked then i cant argue with that. I'm going to hold out til tomorrow for you though. As far as connections go on EDA i really believe you wont have a problem i think your very good at that. As @cheifsgirl said both her and i would give you some if we could so there will be others im sure. Hang in there. Dont lose hope yet. Xx

    Thanks hon.

I just feel it's so bl00dy unfair. I am a good person. I always try to do the right thing.

Why is it asking so much to have something that everyone else - everyone not doing IVF - takes for granted.

All I've ever wanted is to hold my own baby in my arms. I've sat back and watched friend after friend, and both of my sisters have babies. I've always done the honorable thing and have been excited and helped them celebrate as they bought more and more children into their families.

And I'm sitting here with empty arms. The pain is just so overwhelming.

oh @Blossom74 hugs. it's so unfair. I can hear the pain in your voice and wish there was something I could do to help. I don't have any spares now but if I did and they'd help, you could have them

I agree with the other gals @Blossom74 I don't think you would have trouble making connections, your lovely personality comes shining through so clearly. I'm sorry you are in so much pain right now but, for what it's worth, I think you will have a baby in your arms eventually, one way or another.
It breaks my heart to hear you say you do the honorable thing with your friends and family because I do know how very hard that can be. Not being able to cope with that joy from other people was one of my greatest fears.

thanks @Corbes. yes, we're going to get the NIPT blood test done. and probably have the scan also. my embie is untested so it's hard to know. I hope everything's ok. just checking if I can have the NIPT done at RPA also or if I should go to Genea for this, since my doctor said the processing is all done at Genea anyway.
