@Lastround - as many have already explained PGD is when they look at all the chromosomes for abnormalities - it's not just the common trisomies, they look at all of them. I have had 5 tested across three cycles and all have had at least one chromosomal abnormality. The testing means I saved myself 5 transfers of abnormal embryos. Happy to explain more about the process if you need.

Im not with Wazza but to answer your question - yes I know there are several over 40 s ladies who have been successful with Wazza with their own eggs. The other girls will be able to be more specific.

No...he's what they call a Reproductive Immunologist & is a stand alone Specialist who has his practice in Sydney.

He does both face to face & phone consults for his patients who can't get to Sydney for whatever reason hence sending blood test request forms & scripts through the mail.

Many of the Lovelies here have had either ph/face to face or both consults with him so will be able to tell you more😊

@Blossom74 I can completely understand why you're losing your mind at this stage. 10dpo and 11dpo are exceptionally ridicolously frustratingly difficult days. 12dpo ideally it would be great to see a hinter of a squinter...but it's the getting to 12dpo so things can genuinely kick off at 13dpo and 14dpo that is hard enough and would start to drive any woman insane!! Hold on gorgeous girl there's only a few days to go. I wonder if you're baking up a storm to help the hours go by?

I'm so massively grateful for "Wren and Wrex's" cheer squad girls! You all rock!! If it takes a village to raise a child then maybe it take a BH village to get one or both of these 300 cell poppets to stick! I'm still in my super positive Happy Bubble and plan on staying there for the next week! According to Dr W, Wren should have hatched by now and Wrex in 2 hours.
(Nope, I have no idea of their genders and apologies for my ridiculouslay positive and annoyingly happy frame of mind!!!)

ain't that the truth, it seriously messes with your mind. My AF starts on 12 so if I get that far and she hasn't started Im starting to get very hopeful..no.. wait..Im already hopeful and pessimistic at the same time. Its TOTAL mindfruck, as is no symptoms vs cliché symptoms..if you haven't got any its a good sign and its also a bad sign! its like a lose lose situation.

I hope you've got some plans over the weekend @Blossom74. Bake up!!

I think part of it is feeling human again now I'm only on the half dose of Metformin. I'm not scared anymore of what's going to happen to me. Im back in control of whether I'm going to stay conscious or not!!
@Bongley I don't know how you function properly on 1000mg. It's just too much for me. I must be a real light-weight on the serious drugs!!
Right now I'm on 500mgs in the morning and in 5 days I'll have to make the call as to whether to add the extra 500mgs to the evenings meds, to get me back up to 1000mg daily, as per Dr M's instructions. Food for thought.
Oh, and my nurse here said I definitely should have started on 500mgs for 2 weeks before taking the full 1000mgs. Hopefully this helps one of Dr M's patients in the future who reads this!
