Apparently I can't do a cycle then so will have to wait til May. I'm devo. It just takes forever it seems. I wonder if I should go for a cycle this month with my low cost clinic as its less than 2k oop. Help ladies.

Depends. Have you done the low cost clinic before and how did you respond to it? Was it worth the money you spent or should you have put that to a higher cost/more successful round? And is there any chance you could see another FS at your higher cost clinic who might be able to get the ball rolling quicker?

Personally I prefer not to clinic hop, only because I think consistency is key with this sort of thing. It's actually the reason I didn't try a new clinic recently. The 'new' FS told me my old FS would have had a plan and was working his way through it, and at 'our age' is would be remiss of me to not stick to the plan. It was food for thought.

I will give you the same advice I give everyone on these things. Think about all of the above and go with what your gut is telling you. Do you feel an urgency? Then do a low cost round. But if you can wait, I reckon go for the more specialised care.

Hugs hon, it's a toughie and I've been no help sitting on the fence.

I've asked and they said they'll get him to contact me but the receptionist said the nurse should've told me that they generally wouldn't do a cycle after an op.

I've done 3 stims and 6 transfers with the low cost clinic with no pgd testing. They are wanting to do a high dose stim cycle with basic Bondi protocol. I've done all of that before though other than the high dose of stim drugs. I get about 7-9 eggs and last two stims 2 frosties. I feel though that it's been money down the drain however the FS reckons it's just a numbers game. The new clinic charges a LOT more but will do Pgd and lap which I figure I need at this stage but I'm just so desperate to get going again. I think it's because my brother will be due in June and I just so desperately want to be pregnant by then (and a long time ago too).

@Lastround I'm sorry to hear about your bfn. I have been seeing dr m in Sydney for immune issues. Happy to answer any q's you might have. If you're down to your last two precious embies I'd prob do some further investigations, just so you know you've left no stone unturned.
@Blossom74 I have e everything crossed for you.
@Tahli, good luck sweetie, I hope this is It!
@BlondeinBrisvegas, pity your exdh wasn't looking a few months ago, I have a unit in the west end that was looking for a tenant!
@Charlie74 I'm so sorry you've been having a hard time. Please feel free to pm me anytime if you need a chat xxx

I know about the pregnancy announcements with the drinking water thing, my company does that too! I had an announcement once where she got pregnant naturally at the same time I did a transfer, mine failed, I cried all the way home.
@faithandhopellove I have no words, but you are in my thoughts xxxx

Sorry I've been AWOL, crazy busy at work, but finished up today - yay! Just in time as I have the beginnings of a head cold -no! Last scan tmw, can't wait to see our princess again. Who has been spoilt already with so many gifts! Baby shower tmw too so a very busy day.

Wazza is an OBGYN/FS and Charlotte an OB/FS just not sure if she does Gynae too??? They will both test you for possible Immune Issues as well.

Your other option for Immune Issues is Dr M in Sydney that a lot of the Lovelies here have gone to. He's a Reproductive Immunologist that does ph consults so you don't have to see him in person and my understanding is that he will send all BT forms/scripts for meds etc you may have to take for your upcoming FET Cycle in the mail if anything was found.

Some of the Lovelies like @Chiefsgirl etc who have been to see him/done phone consults will hopefully chime in and fill you in a bit more. What is your nearest capital city Luv?? Perhaps we can all put our heads together and find you someone to see up your way if coming down here is too difficult for whatever reason.

I'd hate for you to put those last 2 emby's back without having all your ducks in a row especially if it's going to be your final chance
Yes I am hearing you I am in Qld and so either Brisbane or Townsville but already used QFG in Townsville

You might just need a stronger immune protocol. Most FS who prescribe Bondi protocol only go to about 10mg prednisolone whereas a cpl of other FS and dr m prescribe higher doses. You might also have hla matches or just need stronger support. Was there a reason your FS did the Bondi protocol? Or was it just something to try?

    Hi gorgeous girls!
I arrived safe and sound in CT a few hours ago. I've enjoyed my massage where I said lots of positive affirmations, a wonderful shower so I feel human again after 25 hours worth of travel, and am now frocked up with bright pink lippy on about to have lunch at The Vineyard while in awe of Cradle Mountain (it's beauty never tires). I'm so ridiculously happy and excited. It's like some-one swapped my Gestone for happy drugs!!
CFC thawed 2 of my embryos at 9.30am and they called me at 10am to say they'll update me on their condition closer to my transfer time at 1.30pm, which is in 1.5hrs. Please, please, pleeease universe give me something to transfer!!

ahh of course. yeah I think it's good to have a break after an op. I think I had ~3months off cycling after my appendectomy. the first couple I still wasn't feeling right (after the fluid on lungs, tummy was ok)
