@Blossom74 - I'm definitely of the view that amh levels and number of eggs collected is not a determinant of success. They keep saying its a numbers game but I don't think it is. Numbers don't matter it's quality and that one quality egg can come from a batch of 3 collected. You wojld think odds of getting a good one would increase if you had a higher number collected but I am certainly the poster girl for that not being the case!
@Maxwellsmum - that's the problem isn't it. The eggs can look good under a microscope and still be abnormal ( I'm an example of that). It's just so frustrating. I wish they wouldn't progress to blast and give false hope. I created the embryos so have to give them a go. Just hoping that if they're abnormal, they don't implant as I really don't want another d and c as its only about 8 months since my last one with one 6 months before that. You get a lot of day 5 embryos for ' our age' . That should give you hope. I struggle with day 5 as they have all, except one, had to grow to day 6 to reach hatching blast for biopsy.
