I was probably enjoying all the attention I'm sure your DD will get there. it's good you're getting her tested. sorry to hear your ex is being a pain. he should be more supportive of all the work you're doing for DD.

bananas. thanks, just remembered I bought banana cake today and it's threesies now so time to snack

I'm sure she will too Luv but she's been diagnosed as being Globally Delayed so won't catch up properly until she's about 6 years old. All the testing is to try to find a cause (if possible) and to see if there are any Intellectual Delays as well or Autistic Disorders etc but won't really know that until she's a bit older so for now just have to concentrate on the things we can address.

Oooh...Have a big, fat slab of that cake for me!!!!! Yum!!!!

ahh I see. I didn't know about GD. I hope they can find the cause and rule out any other disorders

@Lastround I have heard of 2 people whose babies sucked so much calcium out of their bodies that they ended up with spinal fractures. If you're not a dairy person I'd definitely be asking your Dr about supplements.

I was thinking that because when I was Pg with DD 17 years ago I had huge holes in my teeth

Got another meeting tomorrow morning with a woman from the EDCP (Early Childhood Development Program) to see what assistance/programs they might be able to offer DD. We also started Speech Therapy for her on Monday and attempted to get a hearing test done on Tues but she had a meltdown so now she'll have to go to the hospital and get knocked out (with a syrup they drink) and have her brain waves measured to see if there are any weaknesses with her hearing which both myself and the Paed are confident there isn't.

It's just another thing to strike off the list whilst looking for possible causes of her developmental delays. Ex-DP is still looking at properties and being an off and on A/Hole so the sooner he goes the better as he's been really pi$$ing me off this week.

In case anyone hasn't told you lately @BIB, you are doing an AMAZING job. You've had a lot on your plate with your LO and the separation, and have held yourself together with grace. Sorry ex-DP is being a pain in the a$$ - the sooner he is out the better IMO. It must be terribly hard to move on when he's still bl00dy there! Anyway, big hugs for you love

my doctor's written another perscription for more progesterone too which is good so it should arrive this week/early next week

just seeing if I'll "know" anyone there (even virtually)
@winsor Yep, thats where I'm going. I'll wear a carnation so we know each other! Yeah the GP will probably order a load of BT for you and then the nurses will probably do the exact same tests again. That's what happened to me anyway. Ah well, us IVF gals are used to giving blood and weeing in cups.
