@MissDa I found the costs interesting, thanks for sharing. When I costed up doing a fresh donor cycle for CT it came to $12k so not a big difference. I think where the difference lays is if you need to do a FET. How much is it to do a subsequent FET with a known donor?

Everything will be OK in the end.
If it's not OK it's not the end.

I wouldn't think a FET with a donor egg would be any more expensive than normal, would it? It is a service for yourself, so I think it would be the same whether you use OE or DE. My clinic charges roughly $2,400 for a FET, and I get about $1,100 of that back through Medicare

@Blossom Sorry, I meant a CT FET is more expensive. Even though it's only $600, by the time you add flights etc it comes to about $3k.

    Ah, yes, of course. Sorry!

Either way, I reckon that unless one of us wins the lotto, none of us will have a lot of spare moulah lying around after this cr@p!

@Tahli, when I get to the end of this cr@P, you'll have to add a new section to your line up. Something along the lines of "I'm at the end and it's ok."

If this whole DE thing doesn't work for us we're hanging up our boots. We won't be going into any more debt after this.

So just in case this helps anyone. I just found out that my initial test swabs for mycoplasma gentilium was negative its only because wazza specifically asked for PCR testing that it showed up. Maybe thats why it hasnt shown up til now as standard testing showed negative. Bless you Wazza.
