thanks Maxwellsmum, I love the bottlebrush too and the birds do love them - they get a little drunk from the nectar. xx

Tahli yumm. I haven't seen those either, though DP did buy me some golden gaytime icecream which didn't last very long

Heads are 7cm in diameter.. I like to use that as a guide to how big they are getting. I reckon a newborns head would be around 11cm across ?

Brilliant news @JulieM! Everything sounds like it's right on track and your babies are thriving

@winsor They're possibly trashy but surely we should have a go at taste testing them!!

@Blossom yes i got small home loan to buy 2 cars very low interest rate over 5, 7 years so im sure something can be managed. Good luck. Im sure your on top of it with your skills though 😉
@BlondeinBrisvegas thats fabulous news about your lo walking woo hoo. Sunshine in the darkness

Afm. So as far as im concerned wazza may have solved the puzzle. WARNING TMI. He sent a letter today saying i have a cervical infection that effects fertility and implantation. Not usually tested for clearly as i thought i had been tested and cleared of all usual things. However this one causes PID. Can be asymptomatic which i am. Anyway antibiotics should clear it up. Sent script with letter bless him. Not sure how AB's will effect eggs and impending april cycle but still fx we have answers. Yippee

Mind you, I did go for a 40 minute walk today, so.....hmmmmm.....

    WOW! That's a massive discovery @Infinity.

First up, there is no such thing as TMI around here, so have no fear of that!

Secondly, this reminds me of when I started my IVF journey. My Doctor insisted on doing a billion tests (as they do), one of which was for chlamydia. Now, I didn't have it (in fact, all my tests came back clear which was nice) BUT he did tell me at the time "It's incredible how many women have the Chlamydia infection. And the worst part is that it can cause all sorts of internal damage, including infertility, without any external sign that you have it." The sad thing about it is that it is treated with antibiotics too - such a simple and effective cure. The trouble lies when the infection lies undetected for a long period. Apparently it can erode your tubes and everything. Anyway, I'm not at all implying that this is what you've had but isn't it interesting how something so simple to resolve could do such damage?

I am SO PLEASED that your Doctor has done those tests and detected that for you hon. Roll on your next cycle, I say! Your take home bub is coming, ready or not!

@infinity888 I hope this isn't painful but I'm curious as to what it is called. If it's not tested for generally then some of the rest of us might have it???

    Just a beautiful plan @winsor

A few years ago my little dog had to be put to sleep (2 years old) and I know some people would disagree that the grief I felt (and still feel) for him is of no comparison to that of losing a child at any stage, and I respect and understand that. My plan is to plant a frangipani tree in the middle of our yard and scatter his ashes there. However it's been two years since he passed and I'm still not ready for that final goodbye but do look forward to one day when I'm old and grey sitting under that tree and just thinking of him.
