@Tahli just curious if you have been tested for mycoplasma blah blah only that i seem to remember you may have been on doxyciline? Also is testing for prolactin levels standard? Sorry to ask you but i know how thorough you have been so i thought you might know?

@Rubywoohoo it's just devastating when you get those high numbers and nothing comes of it. I hope your dh comes around swiftly to de so that hope can return for you to have a family together.

@Rubywoohoo- sorry this cycle didn't turn out well for you. My numbers have been similar as I've collected 53 eggs over 3 cycles and although I've had some blasts they've all been abnormal. It makes me feel frustrated and angry ( as if IVF didn't make us angry enough) that with such big numbers collected I just can't get one embryo to transfer just to have a chance. I am tired of the phrase ' numbers game' because it's not, it's a quality game. If I was in different circumstances I would move to DE but that won't be my future and I am giving it one last shot with my own eggs. Are you with Wazza? I'm sure he will do everything possible to get you success one way or another be it with OE or DE.

Wazza had DH on Doryx when we did our first two cycles with him - realised he needed it from DH's SA that FS#1 had done . So it helped the little spermies. How long/far into the cycle would you be on them? I find the trouble is that if you do anything out of the ordinary and then the cycle doesn't turn out as you want you feel so guilty, whereas it might have been that way anyway as each cycle varies.

I reckon Wazza would have checked DH too, but the great thing about him is that he doesn't mind you asking and will investigate all options.

@infinity888 was your infection picked up from BT or EB?

Not sure but i assume we will start doryx tomorrow so maybe abs will be finished before i start. I had a pap smear test and a few swabs taken at my only appointment with wazza in feb as i was due and he said he wanted to test a few things. Didnt mention what and i didnt ask as i thought i had already been cleared by 2 previous fs. I am totaly asymptomatic as is dh so very happy wazza tested anyway.

@Rubywoohoo im so sorry to hear your news. I cant imagine how frustrating that would be for you. I am a low responder with therefore low expectations. If i got that many eggs i would have high expectations. However cleary we are the same but different. Still chasing that golden egg. Im learning that this ivf journey is different for everyone but we are all united by two things disappointment and HOPE. Sending you hugs. I hope you find your new plan soon.

@infinty888 is there a repeat? Otherwise you'll be done.

I'm worried about an infection as IVF is making me paranoid , but I've heard of a number of women where Wazza has found an infection. Wazza did Pap at first appointment, but it wasn't clear and as I'd had one with FS#1 six months previously I didn't worry, but FS#1 ignored a lot... So I better.

Are you aware of Wazza's upcoming leave? 22-30 March; 25 April-23 May: and 18-25 July - yikes!!! I think Charlotte is covering a bit, but she also has leave soon, so not total backup.
