Oh, I'm so sorry your fur-baby is sick. I know when mine are under the weather I worry incessantly about them. They are my stand-in babies and the love I have for them is immense, so I feel for you today.

It is hard to deal with that sort of thing at work too. I remember when my dog was sick with cancer. He did ok for a couple of years and then went down-hill so I ended up having to put him to sleep during my lunch break from work. Needless to say by the time I got back to the office I was a mess, and I lost my shiz in the boss's office and got sent home!

Hoping your fur-baby makes a swift recovery though, and sending big hugs your way

Can I get some advice from you girls re weaning off prenisolone please?

I was on 20mg a day (10mg morning and evening) and when I got my BFN I immediately cut it down to 5mg morning and evening, which I'm still taking.

I'm thinking of cutting it down to just a single 5mg dose per day from today, doing that for three or four days and then dropping it completely.

Is that weaning off slow enough? Don't want to make myself sick doing it too quickly!

I also reckon you've hit the nail on the head with your idea of ex-DH moving out. How can you possibly know how you feel if he is still there living with you? You need your own space to be able to think clearly about what you want and what is best for your LO. You may stay separated, you may get back together in due course. Who knows? But I think therapy, whilst a great idea, can expose a lot of anger and hostility as you try and heal yourself. I applaud that you want to be able to keep that from your DD, and I think you're doing a marvelous job of doing so.
    Thanks Luv😊

If we do end up working it out in due course believe me when I say I'll be in no hurry to move him back in again either as awful as it sounds😐

Right now doing the counselling just feels like I'll be going through the motions at this point😐

I'm at Playgroup with DD. It's the Easter Egg Hunt/break up for the holidays.

One of my BFF's who I haven't seen for ages is coming over for a catch up & I've baked some vanilla cupcakes for the occasion😊

Ta @Lolly99. It's just my way of coping, to crack on with planning the next cycle. I was awake from 3.30am to 6.30am weighing up my options. Seeing if I could get the costs down to transfer my final frozen embryo but realistically it's still $3.5k with no guarantee of it thawing or it's quality. Or $12k for a full new cycle with a fresh new ED and SD to see if it makes a difference.
I've just been doing up lots of costings and timelines. I just can't believe I'm back here again. What in the heck is so wrong with me that I can't get my embryos to stay stuck?!!
At this point I may have been ready to spend that $3.5k and draw the line...but on the weekend, while I was still pregnant, my DS was snuggled up to me on the sofa gently stroking my tummy. It was as if he sensed his little brother or sister was also snuggling in. (Sh~te. I'm crying. I knew this would happen.) He deserves a sibling to love.
@Felicity Fox Yep, LB did an endo biopsy and NK cells were present and then that was reconfirmed via a blood tests with Dr M (Sydney). Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll take any help I can get! I moved off Pred this cycle and on to Dexamethasone. I did a few cycles on 10mgs of Pred, then 1 on 25mgs and then moved onto Dex for this cycle.

@Blossom74 I think the general gist is to wean off 5mg every 5 days.
@BlondeinBrisvegas I've done counseling and mediation with my ex (DS's Dad) pre and post separation. You'll definitely know in your heart if you're merely going through the motions. I did it so he could move on healthily and and we could co-parent effectively. Going to the sessions really wasn't about me. Good luck! xx

I was told to drop it every 4 days. If you've been on it for a while, then I'd probably drop to 2.5 as a final dose.

I had my blood test today. My hcg was 1 and my progesterone was 78. This is my lowest progesterone to date. I wonder if it was because I didn't do the Gestone and Crinone lastnight? I feel rubbish.

Hardly your fault though hon I swear, I am IN AWE of everything you've gone through to try and get your embies to stick

I'm not hugely knowledgeable about progesterone levels but I *think* 78 is still ok for so early on? Obviously you would expect it to increase as time went on but I don't think 78 would be considered inappropriate?

No, the more concerning number to me is that lonely 1 of HCG. That just bl00dy sucks. Whatever implantation you did achieve seems to have dropped off so quickly. I really hope that your discussions with your FS will give you an idea of what the hell is going on.

    When is your appointment love?

Thanks @Blossom. LB's nurse delivered the news with her usual lack of kindness. I've just had a huge cry. My body feels so useless.
I just checked my Dec progesterone level and it was 95, so not too much difference.
I just tried to make an apt to have the stupid Tubal Patency Test done. The first 2 places I called didn't have any availability and the third is making me ring back on cd1.
I don't have a FS so to speak. LB is just the CT facilitator. I'll see what Dr W at CFC says. He'll most probably reserve comment until the Tubal Patency. I wonder if he'll stay to stop, and not to progress with a new ED.
I rang Dr M's office but spent so long on hold I had to hang up. I'll recall Dr M but I don't see much point to it.
