    Default Credit

    Hi Tamtam and Cakeymumma,

We wanted to take this opportunity to resolve any confusion regarding credit for prior learning procedures.

At USQ, the maximum period within which prior learning or work experience may be considered for credit is 10 years. For qualifications and work experience undertaken or obtained within the previous 10 years, each faculty effectively applies its own discretion pursuant to industry standards and the relevance of the applicant’s prior learning or experience in regards to the current state of the industry.

We hope this has helped to clarify the topic. If you’d like any further information please don’t hesitate to contact the USQ Team at study@usq.edu.au.

    Kind regards,
    The USQ Team

I don't really want to get into it here, but my credit application was rejected and the reason given was that the studies were more than 5 years ago (but less than 10). So clearly there are two lots of information out there or someone just didn't want to do the work required to grant my credit.
