@Olive79, thanks so much! Good luck with your cycle! X hope for some neupogen miracles
My lining is usually good but he put me on vit E to help.
Hi Salsa, Yes mine are lower (27%) and this is my first cycle with Dr M too. I have never been pregnant for last 3 cycles and he said to start with less aggressive meds and go from there....it is just that I don't know how to take with another negative result I am sure all ladies out there understood how it feels...
Hi Ladyr, I'm only heterozygous for the C667T variety but I guess what I know is you need to supplement with folate (5-mthf) not folic acid which is most common in pregnancy supplements...that will help keep homocysteine down... I think the main issue is clotting and therefore there's an increase in mc associated with this polymorphism (gene defect)... The gene defects affect methylation which is a major process in the body responsible for so many things.
Best sites to look at are mthfrliving.com - it's got a pregnancy focus and mthfr.com he also sells pregnancy supps but they contain copper as its a common deficiency in USA but not in Oz. I don't take a prenatal supp because of these issues and take a variety of supplements to get around this. If in Sydney (or happy to do via Skype/phone) and want to take it further there's a specialists MTHfR clinic in Sydney who does consults mthfrsupport.com.au....it could be worth getting your folate, active B12 and iron levels checked... They may suggest other things. Hope that's helpful - a lot of info, but good to know you don't have elevated blood NK cells, at least that's one thing!! X
Good overview here too http://www.**********.com.au/pregnancy/mthfr-mutation/
Type in ********** in where the blanked out info is.

Thanks velvet… my query was more relating to having both MTHFR gene types.. apparently it is quite uncommon and can involve potential health risks down the track.
Has anyone had experience with having the C677T AND the A1298C?
Hi Ladies, my FS today suggested to have some scratching on the uterus to help the embies stick before FET in Apr (again just an option). Has anyone of your ladies have done and believe this is somewhat helpful? I almost don't want to go through more with FS but concentrate on Dr M's protocols? Any word of advise will be helpful
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
