I agree with Velvet. I had a lap with tonnes of endo symptoms and only had a little bit when they got in there. But felt much better moving on knowing I ticked that box and wouldn't be wasting money on ivf which was always our last resort.

I did email G at last and got a reply. She even called back to my surprise and apology for not calling back sooner. yes they told me to increase my progesterone to 400x3 per day which to me is way too high given I am on track at 110...Hubby reckons I should have him as our OB since he knows our issues...

    Hello

been reading this thread for a while but never posted. i am seeing Dr M and doing a second and last attempt with him. We have had 2 donor egg tries, 1 with Dr M consulting. We have decided that with this time being a 3rd try with donor eggs if it doesn't work we will stop. So, as Dr M put it, we are doing the kitchen sink approach. I have not seen much on here about LIT, which we are doing this time. Just wondering if anyone has had this treatment? I have no idea what the treatments do but trusting Dr M.

Hi, I'm a long time lurker/Dr M patient but don't post very often but thought this might help others too....

I have just got back from Medicare. I reached the benefit threshold earlier in the year and got the following:
$300 for initial consult (my 12 month previous referral had run out) - $254.55 back
$150 for phone consult -$131.00 back

Better than I expected so I am going to try work out the cost and fit in 1 or 2 more cycles this year to keep costs down as I down to my last 2 embies. (Had 7 to start with from Cycle #3 and still no luck - will be trying Dr M's kitchen sink approach if I do go again)

    Hi debant
I am currently in Sth Africa doing an os donor egg cycle. I am a new Dr M patient and am doing a bit of a kitchen sink too including neupogen and LIT. Im hoping it works. We did 3 transfers last year with donor egg-all from same donor, double transfer each time and all bfn. We are trying new donor this time. Our new Dr in SA thinks this will also help as our last donor although gave us 9 blasts they had written in the notes as soft on edges. So we have new Drs new donor and new protocol and hoping for a miracle. I have also gone gluten free and have done intralipids. Will you be trying a new donor? I think it could be worth it if its your last go. We are also hoping to do PGD on the embryos depending on their outcome and how many get to blast stage.
I wish you all the best x
